I haven't made this bag yet, but the directions look well written and many diagrams to help the maker understand the directions.

This pattern was definitely challenging since you have to measure everything as outlined as there is no traditional pattern to cut out. There is a lot of room for creativity and alterations for the more advanced seamstress. The pictures I included in this review were the Take a Stand (small version) and Running with Scissors (also a By Annie pattern). I recommend looking at some YouTube videos for additional guidance. I was pleased with the outcome and recommend.

This is a really fun bag to make and the small one is a great bag for a project bag for sewing or knitting. I made the large one also which is a great diaper bag or travel tote. Like all of By Annie patterns, it has great instructions. She truly writes well thought out patterns and makes zippers actually fun to put in and the whole bag easy to construct.
