Ordered to install in a 2015 Chevy 3500HD as preventative maintenance for a common failure point. Initial impression is positive; seems well made and on par with the original. Installation was a snap; included instructions are helpful, but there are also several tutorials online for reference. Fits and looks just like the OE version. Feels like it should during use and operates as expected. Adjusting buttons feel and work well too. Overall, it operates exactly as the original. Longevity remains to be seen, but hopes are high. Recommended.

As soon as I swapped out this unit in my truck the annoying warning stopped. this was a cheap and easy fix.

I like how it is and where it fits. You really don’t have to worry about it being in your leg space. Like the old one are very uncomfortable always getting in the way. You just install it in the dash. It seems very easy to install if you mechanically inclined.
