The vest is warm and the inserts for different sizing options are great! The battery charges quickly and stays charged for a good length of time. Our only complaint would be that the "on/off" button doesn't turn it back on. After turning the jacket off, you need to unplug the battery from the jacket and then plug it back in to turn the vest back on, but that's no big deal.

Bought this 10 days ago in anticipation of a steelhead fishing trip in February. I have been wearing it daily inside and out to test it. I am very happy with this vest, it has exceeded my expectations. Its been 42 degrees here during the day. I used to dread going out and working in those conditions, I either had to wear a bunch of layers, or put up with the cold seeping into my core. With this vest, I can wear it on top of a light T-shirt, with a sweatshirt on top, and I am very comfortable. Its a thin vest of fleece, which lends itself well to having layers on top of it. I like the adjustability of the vest, as a snug fit works best. I am 6', 200 lbs, with a size 34 waist. It fits me perfectly without any of the expansion panels. It might be too big for smaller folk. I started out testing the vest on medium setting (green), but thats actually too high for me. The second from the lowest setting (yellow) or the lowest (blue) work for me. On green, with the supplied Arris 7500 mAh battery, I am getting 5 to 5.5 hours. I haven't clocked the yellow and blue times. I did buy another company's 16,000 mAh battery. I haven't been able to run it out of juice on yellow and blue, it probably lasts at least 10 hours. I am looking forward to wearing this under a fleece layer and a puffy layer and a coat on our fishing trip. It will definately keep my core warm, which in turn makes it easier to keep the rest of the body warm.Two things I would like. 1. The adjustment buttons, located on the upper left chest, are difficult to access with non-zippered layers on top. Perhaps toward the front bottom? 2. I wish Arris offered a larger battery, and that their battery price was more reasonable. Fifty five dollars for the 7500 mAmp is pretty steep

Pros: The vest is soft, warm, and cozy. It warms slowly but feels especially nice on the neck back and upper pockets (perfect for chilly dog walks). Multiple, easily changed size panels. The side panels make it size-adjustable but... see the cons.Cons: The side panels wiggle loose and come unzipped on their own, starting under the arm (they zip in the same direction as the front of the jacket). I wish there was some sort of additional snap at the top to keep them together.Better yet, make the zippers work top to bottom so if they start to unzip, it's only around the hem and gravity won't keep pulling the zipper down with every step! Very annoying design flaw.

Vest came as described PLUS. The ability to adjust the size is awesome. I was able to custom fit the vest. Heat is excellent. Zippers and controls functioned great. They even included a soft storage and a zippered laundry bag. Quality, comfort and cost.

PRO- Love everything about this vest 5 choices of heat. Size adjustable just the right amount of thickness. Battery life ok so far.Cons- you can ONLY recharge the battery pack with a house plug. That's why I gave it 4 stars big issue if you spend time away from a plug

I bought this vest in October of 23. It is now mid January of 24. I wanted to use it for a while before I left a review. I don't know how many people I've told that this is one of the best purchases I've made. I looked at a lot of vests before I purchased this one and read a lot of reviews. Way to big, way to small, connecting wires break easily, cheap zipper and on and on. I have no complaints on this vest. The add in, take out panels on this vest make sizing a breeze. I normally wear a large and I left one narrow panel in on one side. I left out two wide, two medium and one narrow panel. This thing could get quite large. I always wear a T-shirt under it. I've worn the vest and a sweatshirt when I would have normally worn a much heavier jacket and stayed very comfortable. We just went through five days of subzero temps and I was outside removing snow each day. I wore a heavier coat over it but had it unzipped most of the time. Mainly to keep my arms warm. I mostly use the lowest temp setting and it's lasted up to 8 hours or so. A couple of times I've bumped it up one or two settings and the battery life naturally goes down. I have, and recommend, a spare battery. Once you buy the vest Arris will send you a code to buy another battery at 50% off. I just ordered a 3rd battery just in case. I am very pleased with the quality and function of this vest after about four months and daily use. If any of that changes I will update my review, but I don't expect it will. Just buy it!

overall the vest is Nice, money spent I'd say it's worth it since the purpose of me buying it is to keep me warm and it does its job. you can change the size by adding extra clothing that comes with it.the heating buttons are for 3 location 1 is for pockets, 1 for front and 1 for back, and you can control the heat level for each locations which is pretty handy.definitely keeps you warm and it does its job, I run my heat to low for 8 hours a day and for the full charge battery, the 3rd day I need to charge it up because I don't want to dry empty the battery, not sure if how good will it last for the battery, I heard bad reviews about the battery itself but I can't tell how good or bad it is right now.will edit my review if anything happens in couple of months.

OK so this thing is sweet , it came early as well. Very impressed with the craftsmanship put into this vest it is well-made stitching is great zippers are nice it’s cozy warm before you even turn it on. The side panels you can add or take away are a great idea makes it fully adjustable to fit you. I am 5 foot seven and the Length is perfect. The vest heats up very fast it’s nice to have three zones that you can adjust separately. I work outdoors a lot on the railroad the heated collar is especially nice with the wind. I ordered the extra battery with the 50% discount received it a couple days later great to have the back up as I work 12+ hours outside. I would recommend this vest to anyone looking forward to hunting season this fall when I’m sitting in the stand I’ll be toasty warm.

The vest fits perfectly and I can feel the warmth even on the lowest setting. I haven't had a chance to try it in really cold weather but I think it will perform well. I have a heated jacket and gloves, that are much more expensive, but the warmth they provide is disappointing. I think it makes more sense to have the heat source in a vest that is close to my body and wear a good jacket over it to keep the heat in. I don't know how long the batteries last yet. I have used it on several occasions and have not had to recharge it yet. I will recommend this vest to my friends and family.

It’s great that this vest gives you three different sizing options with the removable side panels. Vest has full range of warming options. Only downside is they advertise an additional battery at 1/2 price. Very difficult to figure out how to get it. Still waiting to hear from company.

When I first received the vest, I had an issue with the battery. I contacted ARRIS and within days their customer support had shipped me a replacement battery. I also joined the facebook group and requested the coupon for the 2nd battery at 50% which I received within a day or two. I love the vest and so does my wife. Looks like I will have to get one for her as well!!!
