The hook/eyelet that screws into the door is very cheap. Broke after four uses. I purchased a more sturdy eye for the door from Home Depot for the door, and it works great now.

Installed just fine and looks nice, but the ring broke off the very first time we tried to open the attic door. Thus, we weren't able to open the attic door and had to pry the door open, damaging the door. Turns out the ring is plastic, not metal. Do not recommend.

East to install- but the ring broke as we tightened the screw! Had to put the ugly cord back on and find a sturdier pull

We love this. It looks great on the attic door and so easy to pull down the stairs with the hook stick. Why didn't we ever think of this before after living here for 32 years.

Great attic ladder pull down system, better quality than I expected, and to be honest I wasn't expecting much from this telescopic pole.It's “small”, but it does its job very well, every item in this set does what it's supposed to do.Best of all, the price is very friendly, which makes it a very good solution
