Perfect solution for the attic door! I used to have a piece of cord hanging from the door, which looked terrible, but now I get a clean, minimalistic look. The system is very sturdy, so I donโt see it failing anytime soon. Installation is simple โ just drill two holes to install the ring. You might want to add a piece of 1x4 for extra strength, but depending on how strong your doorโs springs are, plywood might be enough.

This is pretty straight forward. We had a string hanging down just above face level. This is a nice improvement that makes the attic just a little more out of general view. The bolt seems plenty strong and surely will last. The pull down tool is in sections that can make it store in a smaller place. Will have to see how the pull pole holds up over time. It seems good to me. This was an item I needed and it serves it's purpose for me.

The pull down was easy to install. Itโs lightweight and works well. My ceiling is 10 feet up and as the multi-segment pole, it can be changed to accommodate lower ceilings. I recommend this product.

This is perfect for our attic in the furnace room . It's much better than the string we pull (and breaks).

Update: The seller reached out to address my concerns and reassured me that the hardware was quality tested for this purpose and that it will not fail, so even if it doesn't look as heavy as I expected, it is strong. So I have updated my original review from a 3 to a 4 star.I ordered this set because my rope to pull down my attic steps is beginning to fray and this set looked like a nice upgrade. The pole arrives in sections so it is important to make sure you screw them together tightly so the pieces don't come apart when using it and fall on your head or face, since you are using it above your head. The hook to attach to the pole is a decent quality, but I expected the rhombus and U-handles to be a much heavier duty metal than they are. The screws and nuts are included to attach both of the handles.
