Pros:1) Easy to follow instructions, and universal!2) Sturdy device and cable/connectors, with hard-cover protective case for storage and transportation.3) Nice display in terms of size and readability, and buttons are simple to use with good tactile function.Cons:Only one... the registration process and procedure for updating software/firmware are a bit sketchy (i.e., questionable security); for the intended application, these should not be needed when being utilized for older vehicle models than the manufacturing date of the new device. However, no trouble thus far...

This tool is so much better than the older Snap-On tool I had been using. Literally night and day difference. I paid more for the Snap-On software update about 2 years ago, than I did for this tool. Their sensors work great as well. I think there are 2 sensors that fit almost all cars. Just buy this thing, you won't regret it.

EAATA Pro no incluye en el precio mostrado en la pagina de Amazon los impuestos de importación que son muy caros, por lo que el precio del bien aumenta tanto, que si me lo hubieran mostrado no lo hubiera comprado.

Most new cars will display all the tires, the pressures and temperatures which is not the case for many older cars like my 2008 Mazda 6. First this helped me determine which sensor was bad but I had another problem with a failed TPMS Module which I had to replace because it was unable to connect to the CANBUS because of that module. After replacing the TPMS Module in my 2008 Mazda 6 the TPMS System reset itself which was pretty cool.Once you get use to using the tool its pretty straight forward. Copying sensor ID's from the old to the new is simple enough. The tool can read other manufactures sensors but can only program Autel MX Sensors so its useful for troubleshooting. Even if you buy another manufactures sensor it will read it and reprogram the car to use the new sensor but it will not program another manufactures sensor.Once you have all the Sensor Locations and ID's write them down for future reference. This tool will remember the ID's until you use it on say another car. The importance of writing the ID's down is a precaution for when one fails. An OEM ID may be written on the Sensor but if you replaced it with an MX Sensor it will not. Maybe you can get the ID's from the car but its easier to have them recorded in a safe place you can easily access which is where Microsoft's One Note comes in handy because you can access the notes from your cell phone if you have One Note and a Microsoft Account.

The unit is easy to use and quickly reads the data from my TPMS devices. I used it to read the data from 4 tires of 2 vehicles. Customer support is responsive.Edit: I ended up returning my unit because it would not complete a reset using the provided cable and following the instructions. CS was very responsive, but it just would not work. The unit reads TPMS sensors just fine, but it would absolutely not work on either a 2019 or 2020 4Runner.

Very nice scanner. The TS508 is Autel’s new generation TPMS scanner with upgraded state-of-the-art features. It is an ideal complement to my Autel MaxiSystem MS908 tablet scanner which lacks full TPMS system functions. Combined with this latest addition, I now have a set of diagnostic tools for my home garage that covers nearly all of my vehicle service needs. No more costly trips to the tire shop to reset/reprogram my sensors when switching between summer and winter tires twice per year. This, alone, is worth the price of the TPMS508 over time. This updated version comes with two operational modes —“Quick Mode” for immediate access to basic functions such as repeatable scanning, sensor programming, learning and relearning. Sensor information summarizes tire pressure monitoring and positioning, temperature setting, and battery checks. The “Advanced Mode” offers expanded TPMS diagnoses accessible through the vehicle’s ODBll port. Both modes are easy to navigate thanks to the intuitive software design. Autel put a lot of thought into creating a very user-friendly device. (See attached photos). The user manual is straightforward with lots of detailed graphics displaying how to activate step-by-step procedures. A “Quick Start” manual is also provided for fast setup. Like any other scanner, it might take some experimentation to become fluent with its many functions. Once you spend time with it, operations quickly become second-nature.The device can also test (not program) the key FOB’s battery strength. Direct key FOB programming would have been a nice addition, yet this would have added significantly to the price of the scanner for a specialized feature that most vehicle owners rarely require. That said, the TS508 is still a dynamic TPMS servicing and monitoring instrument that addresses my primary needs. Eventually, I intend to replace all of my stock sensors with Autel’s MX 2-in-1 sensors to take full advantage of this scanner‘s universal programming options. Since sensors come equipped with 315 MHz and 433MHz dual sensor frequencies, they will likely work with almost any vehicle.Another major plus is the free lifetime updates and technical support offered with this product. This is no small matter since it can be quite expensive to renew yearly scanner subscriptions, particularly for owners of multiple scanners or a single high-end tablet scanner which can cost almost a grand annually to update.Lastly, Autel’s customer service usually responds to inquiries in a timely manner. They seem genuinely committed to making things right should problems arise and, for me, this adds another layer of confidence to my purchase.Thank you, Autel!
