Easy install! It works really well, pulling smoke up from the range even though it mounted on the ceiling. We had a problem with the remote working, but the company was amazing. Working with us to diagnose the problem, sending multiple parts until a solution was found.

There are very few flush to the ceiling exhaust fans. I ordered this because it was the only one that fit my specs.I am very relieved and happy. It is quite The spot lights are a bonus. And it looks very good.

I would certainly say this is an advanced install. Probably not something the average do it yourselfer wants to undertake. That said, if you can make it work it's pretty cool. The fan works well and since it's in the ceiling it's quieter than a ventless hood.I like the form factor but for our install I had to off center it or build out a frame and I wanted it to be flush. It just barely fit between studs and did not run parallel. Because it's on the ceiling no one has noticed but do be aware you may have issues depending on what's happening immediately above your stove.I will complain that the remote gives some trouble. It does not always respond to being pushed. It also feels cheap. Would have loved to be able to give voice commands with my Google home to. Would have been a nice feature.All in all, good value but some drawbacks and not an easy install by any means.

Very easy to install 👍U Have to b able to cut a section Exactly13 3/8 x 26 between ur rafters. It will slip in perfectly 🎉 6 included screws I added 2 more because the holes were there.I didn’t hv room to install the blower motor directly above the intake so I placed it higher up in my rafters. Very simple to frame it in & 4 screws to hold it👍 Very powerful, quiet fan🎉

Installed just below ceiling level as we have trusses so couldn't inset into actual ceiling at the location we wanted. Just built a box around it so it is about 4" lower. Easy enough to install, quiet at speeds 1 and 2, some noise at higher speed but still quieter than other units. Much better price than any other option. Overall, extremely happy with purchase. Would recommend.

Great look, super quiet. These features are important to me. I want to be able to cook and listen to tv at the same time, without having to blast the volume and I want something with a clean, modern, minimalistic look. Pricing is budget friendly for this type of unit. What I don't like: Made in China, brief instructions, duct chart may significantly limit run length, parts availability. Overall, I like this hood a lot. Good option if you are willing to do the attic install, but am looking to buy American from reputable companies, so while this item suits my need, I can't recommend.

I did the installation myself. It is not difficult to install the blower or the hood. However to properly connect the pipes, exhaust vent and seal everything while working in the attic is a bit of a pain. When I successfully completed the installation and turned it on, I was very pleased. It is very quiet. The only sound is air moving through the pipes. You cannot hear the motor. Its a huge improvement over any system with the blower motor in the hood. The filters are easy to remove and clean. Unless you get some satisfaction in doing a project like this, I recommend a professional installation. Bottom line - this is very efficient, powerful and quiet hood and I recommend it.
