As the headline states: Built Solid & Works WellThis is a nice little circuit tester that comes in handy when you don't want to bring out the big meter for simple situations such as DC voltage measurement and continuity testing. The tester uses two AAA batteries that are supplied. The display is bright and numbers are easy to read with a built-in flashlight that's not very helpful.For the price you can't beat it even if you only use to measure the voltage of your vehicle's battery monthly it is well worth it.

This little gadget lives somewhere between an automotive test light and a multimeter. For most automotive and low voltage things, I'm just trying to see how much voltage something has or if there's continuity.This does that stuff with the ease of using a test light. I've never found test light all that useful. While they'll tell you if something has power, it won't tell you how much and I often want to know how what voltage as I'll often run into things where something has power, but the wrong amount. With this, I just hook up to ground and I can quickly poke around an test a bunch of things really quickly and have a free hand while doing it.Add to that that it'll tell you if you've got continuity and without changing any settings or even pressing a button and it's just really handy. It's also tiny so it's easy to leave in a glove box or whatever. Bottom line, I like it more than I thought I would and am reaching for it pretty often.

J'avais autrefois, dans ma voiture, un tournevis lumineux avec sa pince crocodile, ce testeur m'y a fait penser.Gros avantage on peut non seulement tester la présence de tension mais aussi vérifier la continuité d'un fusible ou d'un fil.Il est facile à utiliser et très petit, il a vite trouvé sa place dans la boîte aux gants.On peut également vérifier la tension de la batterie évidemment.Bref à mon avis indispensable.Même si on ne va pas l'utiliser tout les jours.En espérant avoir été utile !

Love having a single tool in the pocket for testing DC volts and resistance without switching modes. I do a lot of low voltage work and it comes in handy for initial diagnosis of a fault. That said there are a few relatively trivial details that would make it better. The alarm for low resistance / conductivity has a delay on it. When going down a rack of a dozen or more connections to see if they are all connected to ground this is noticeable. It takes about a second for the alarm to go off. If the backlight and/or a lesser sound went off instantly on -any- conductivity it would make this faster.Similarly I would love for there to be a light or sound when there is ANY voltage above minimum threshold detected. Often I do not care WHAT the voltage actually is as I am reasonably sure there is nothing wrong to cause it to be anything other than my source voltage, I'm just going down the line of pins to see which are energized or not. If it had a voltage alarm / light I would be going down a row of switched elements touching to the hot side and hearing the volt tone and then to the ground side to hear the conductivity tone.And thirdly I would love a version that did AC as well as DC.All that said, these are features of a more expensive tool. At this price this is great. This has instantly become my go-to for DC.Heck, at the price I am tempted to sacrifice one to see if accidentally hitting it with 110V AC kills it or not.

Di questo tester apprezzo il display, chiaro e luminoso, la molletto per la massa e il cavo di massa stesso che a spirale non intralcia lasciando grande libertà di movimento.

Dieser sehr handliche Spannungsprüfer ist ein idealer Helfer in der KFZ Elektrik, aber auch im Gleichstrombereich kann er gute Diense leisten. Es ist super mal eben schnell überprüfenzu können ob nun die Glühbirne wirklich defekt ist oder ob vieleicht keine Spannung vorliegt, ebenso lässt sich schnell und einfach der Widertand messen und ob eine Leitung vieleicht defekt ist. Ein gewisses Grundwissen über Spannung, Leitungen und Erdung sollte man aber schon haben, damit man auch ein dem entsprechendes Ergebniss erzielen und eine dem entsprechende Reparatur durchführen kann. Denn es kann auch vorkommen , dass eine Glühbirne gewechselt wird und trotzdem die Leitung beschädigt ist oder einfach nur eine Sicherung durchgebrand ist. Der Spannungsprüfer leistet dazu einen sehr guten Dienst um alles präzise darzustellen und einem eine lange Suche nach der Ursache erspart.Ich habe ihn immer mit im Auto und kann ihn so schnell bei defekten im KFZ einsetzen.Das ist aus meiner Sicht sehr zu empfehlen für diejenigen welche in Sachen KFZ- Elektrik noch selber mal was machen.

Handy little voltage tester with many more useful features than your simple run of the mill test lite. It's well made and has a engaging modern sort of design which is easy to use and not difficult to read. Comes with a handy little case and a couple of bat trees.

This DC electrical tester is well-designed in a couple of respects. First, it is small enough to hold in your hand like a pen. Second, its single test lead is coiled so you don’t have unneeded cable tangling you up. It will stretch to reach about 4’ between test points. The buttons are rubberized, so you can find and depress them easily by touch. Depressing a red on/off button for about 2 seconds powers the tester up. It uses a single AAA battery. Two are included. When taking a reading, you can press the hold button to keep your reading on the display after disconnecting from the circuit you are testing. A long press on the third button illuminates an LED on the probe end of the tester to help you see what you are doing. A short press of this button turns the LCD backlight on and off. The battery compartment cover is secured with a screw, so it won’t pop of when you drop the tester. The probe terminates in a sharp point which can be covered for safety with a cap that is attached to the test lead. The test lead ends in a good-sized alligator clip that will attach to test points up to 3/4” thick. The tester switches automatically between reading DC voltage (up to 100V) and resistance. It shuts itself off to save the battery after a period of inactivity. When continuity is detected or when you press any of the buttons, the unit beeps. A zippered storage case is included. I ordered this for use in my camper, but realized I need a meter there that also measures AC, so this tester will have other uses.This is an excellent DC voltage and continuity tester.
