Matters needing attention

1: The product is light curtain type, and the light source has been integrated into the tachometer, so no external light source is required.Try to avoid connecting strong light to the sensor on the mainframe.

2: When measuring the velocity of a projectile with higher velocity. Please take corresponding protective measures.Avoid damage caused by rebound of projectile after hitting the machine.

3: If only the two sides of the light bar light up, the screen flashes 8888 or the screen does not light up,because the battery power is too low, please replace a set of batteries.

Works good. Has built in 36 shot memory. Only reason i gave 4 stars and not five is because you have to turn the device off to reset setting and FPS Isnt at default

I do a lot of shooting, but I've never owned a chronograph. I honestly don't have a use for one, but curiosity finally got to me, so I looked around and read customer reviews on the cheaper units. This arrived today, and I must say that I'm satisfied with my purchase. It comes with 5 supports and 3 sky screens which is a nice touch should you inevitably shoot the screens by accident, along with extra screws and two small screwdrivers. Putting it together was simple (pay attention to left and right on both the chrony and the sky screens). Figuring out the settings isn't difficult. It runs on 4 AA batteries. Knowing what the approximate velocities should have been, my son and I fired an air pistol, air rifle, 9mm, 5.7x28, and 5.56 to test it, and it quickly gave velocities where I expected them to be. From three feet away, the readout is easy to read. So, why only 4 stars? I wish I could give it a 4.5, but that's not a thing. 4 stars, only because it does feel rather light and toy-ish, and I'm concerned about how well it will stand up over time. If I find that it meets or exceeds my expectations, I will return to this review and bump it up.

discription in chineese is crap. To change from Meters Per Second to Feet Per Second. When turnning on as soon as FPS lights up Press and HOLD the BOTTOM button, NOT the up or down the botton one they call it one name and the Pic shows a different name. Then the Purple FPS light will illuninate. Other than that it will measure rubber bands or bullets. I used 44 Magnum, 40 cal and 22 cal, Whats wierd is I shoot Federal walmart ammo and the veloicity is all over the place ( Cheep AMMO)

I haven't used this chronograph but a couple of times, but so far, its calculated 22lr, 22 mag, 9mm, 44 mag and several more. I have to mention that as soon as I put the thing together, I threw the screwdriver that came with it, thru the chrono and it measured that as well. The reasons I gave it a five 1. cost, wasn't very expensive. 2. So far I have not had 1 error message from a screwdriver to 44 mag, in both sunlight and shade.Display is difficult to read in sunlight, but that goes without saying. For a footnote, I have the LED lighting strips attached even in sunlight and I'm not sure that it works without them installed. So all and all I am pleased with my purchase.

Very good chronograph ! Simple and easy to use. Readings are consistent and accurate. Have only tried with arrows thus far but will be taking it to the rifle range soon and will update this review. So far, I am impressed.

A little bit aggravating to get the mph to feet per second on screen. It's easy to convert by using math. It appears to be accurate.

The chrono arrived double-boxed and well protected. I unboxed it, installed the batteries, fired it up and off we go. Initially, I 'chucked' a few pencils through it (indoors) just to see how it would respond. It passed that test. I also shot approx. 10 rubber bands through it (by hand) while stretching them to different lengths and observed the recorded speeds. It recorded each one just fine and though not 'scientific' by any means, it reliably registered speeds that were completely believable. So then I took it outdoors and fired three strings of ten shots each with factory 'standard load' 9mm ammo. All shots registered within 37 total FPS. (avg. speed was around 980 FPS) OK, I'm on board! :) Again, without 'cross-checking' against another more accurate unit, the results were all very believable. I didn't observe any crazy or stray numbers and there were no 'missed' shots either. All in all, not too bad. More time and testing is required before this 'jury' renders its final verdict but so far, we have a winner! I'm cautiously optimistic about longevity and very impressed with what I'm seeing so far. There's a couple of things I'd really like to see though. (even if it adds a small bit to the cost)The outer enclosure is fairly thin and the LED panel struts are kind of 'skimpy' too. They can EASILY be bent during transport! Maybe a hard plastic carry case to protect the whole unit would help? Also, (at a minimum) the power switch should either be inset, have a 'guard' around it, or maybe use a sturdy slide switch on the side instead to prevent inadvertent operation during transport. Other than those 'nitpicks', this chrono seems like a darn good value so far. We'll see over time...
