Got this for my grandson's birthday. The freestanding one I bought him last year was destroyed in a storm. This is perfect as it can be strapped to a pole or tree and wind won't knock it down. Bonus, it was less expensive than freestanding ones.

Lucky to have a staircase with railing centered perfectly on second floor to mount the rim. Cable straps are nice and strong, which made it a breeze to lock the rim down. Works real nicely for son to practice using the In the Lab silent basketball.

The quality of the rim looks terrible. There was multiple chips on the rim with bare metal showing. The welds broke within 24 hours!! I had to weld them myself. The rim is in terrible shape now. Very very poor quality

The rim seems sturdy, but the net broke after 20 minutes of use. We were just playing a mellow game of horse, nothing too crazy. I wish replacement parts were available for replacement, because we already spent time hanging it up and I don't want to drag it down and return the whole thing just for a net.

I purchased the replacement rim that came with a new net but the rim has 12 hooks and the net that came with only has 10. You would assume the net would fit the rim. Had to buy another net that fits correctly.

Easy to install! Chose to use the ratchet straps as I was attaching them to a tree... Could not have been easier! I wouldn't say it gets heavy use but it has held up well so far.
