WHAT IF I'M BETWEEN SIZES? SHOULD I PURCHASE THE SMALLER OR LARGER SIZE? Choose the larger size for gentler compression or the smaller size for firmer compression. When between sizes, the average person prefers the smaller size for a more secure fit, unless you are sensitive to compression.

CAN I WASH IT? Yes. All Bauerfeind supports are made with machine-washable materials. How to care for your brace: For products with Velcro straps, pads or inserts, remove them if possible, or fasten them securely at the place provided on the brace. Machine wash your brace in cold water using the delicate cycle. Wash separately using laundry detergent with no additives (do not use fabric softener or Woolite). Lay your support flat and let it air dry; do not put it in the dryer.

Excellent for mild to moderate sprains. Its helping me stay active and protect against further injury.I’ve been dealing with a recurring ankle sprain and tried a cheaper alternative which led me here.The feel/compression is perfect. It provides snug support without feeling too tight or digging into any areas.I have two knee sleeves from this company which have held up well, hopefully this will too.The only knock I have is the price but hopefully it lasts many years and if so, will be justified.

Bauerfiend Malleo-train: excellent, high quality product. They last for years with near daily use. If you measure correctly they apply just enough pressure to either side of your ankle just below the malleoli. (Ankle “bones”)I leave mine in the freezer and they feel wonderful to pull on.Ice, compression, elevation; there you go!

It does a great job. Price was really elevated but couldn't find something like this budget price. It does the job but can't be using it more than 4 hrs otherwise will hurt, I think that will depend on different people. Easy to use and instructions are available on the box

A bit tight, I measured my ankles, but it’s still a bit tight and causes swelling above it. Should have gotten the next size bigger. Good quality though.

Die Bandage sind sehr gut, leider haben sie einen entscheidenden Makel:Ein Nahtende ist genau unterm Fuß, welches mit Einlagen massive Fußprobleme macht. Hier sollte der Hersteller mal an sich arbeiten.

I've been wearing the MalleoTrain for a few weeks due to Posterior Tibial Tendonitis. It has been very helpful. The rubber parts of the brace have prevented my ankle from swelling. It gives excellent support while walking. My only concern - other than the high price - is that I often get pressure marks on the top of my foot where the brace comes in contact with my shoe. (This happens to me with other braces so not specific to this one.)
