I picked this because it had no bad ratings relative to being smashed and thought it might be well packaged. The item comes in a plastic bag. If this is included in poorly packaged box, the chance of safe arrival is low. I have requested a replacement and hope the second package effort is better.

This seems like it would have been a good quality product...if it didn't show up in my mail flattened. They shipped it to me in a little plastic bag, which obviously didn't work out because by the time I got it, it had been crushed. I tried to straighten it out in hopes of making it work anyway...nope. I am very disappointed, I waited for weeks just to get a broken ligature.

I had read some other reviews on a similar ligature, and people said that it was shipped in an envelope. This one didn't say what it was shipped in, but I was hoping it would be safe during shipping, and it was. I was very pleased to see that it came in a box so that it didn't get damaged, and it fit great on my alto saxophone. The one I got with my sax was similar to this one and it was broken, so I'm hoping this one won't break, but I really don't know what the previous owner did to it or how long they had it, but this one seems great for now and is a wonderful price.

I wanted an inexpensive ligature and this fit the bill. It's not super nice, but does the job. Couldn't beat the price.
