The hallway tree is fairly sturdy and offers enough storage for two peoples' sets of shoes. Both regular shoes and medium height work boots fit in the base. I am not sure if taller cowboy style boots would fit without folding them over. The seat can take around 200 pounds, so I would not recommend a heavier person still on it. All particle board and hardboard. Assembly took a few hours.

We LOVE this hall tree. It is very sturdy, easy to assemble and perfect for our needs. But, what I love the most about this order is the customer service. Out of all the purchases I have made on Amazon, this is the ONLY company that called me on the phone to confirm the order and let me know an estimated delivery time. The employee on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. I really appreciate that they care enough for their customers that they actually call you :-). This is a wonderful company and an excellent Hall Tree. If you are looking for a great piece of furniture with great customer service, you found it here!Please note - the phone call does come across as 'no caller ID' so if you let these go to voicemail, you will miss this call.

Very practical. Wish we would have bought it years ago. Very sturdy, looks good, and was relatively easy to assemble as far as these things go. Reviewers on some cheaper hall trees recommended buying wood glue for the dowels to make it sturdier. This came with wood glue! (Just don't make an assembly mistake or it'll probably be extremely difficult to disassemble it to correct the mistake.) Some of the cheaper ones reviews said the back was so flimsy they didn't even bother installing it. This back section seems quite strong. Also, one reviewer of a cheaper one said the bench was only rated for 100 lbs which seems useless for adults. This bench is rated for 200 lbs.

The seller contacted me regularly to check on my order. They were very professional and friendly. The unit is beautiful nice and of nice quality. The provided hand screwdriver worked better than my electric one, especially getting the holes going. It is a two person assembly. We are happy with the finished product.

This shipped and arrived within days. My husband immediately assembled it. Yes, it took an afternoon but it went together perfectly. This is exactly as I hoped. The size is perfect for my space. The piece is attractive and provides the perfect function for our back hall. I was pleasantly surprised that the Matte White has “texture” (see the last photo). Love everything about it. Can’t speak to its durability however I am very pleased with the purchase. Now, off to by baskets for the top shelf! Two thumbs up.
