Used as pontoon anchor in a lake. Good paint coverage, easy to attach shackle, chain, and anchor line (rope). Seems to hold the boat well in light current and wakes from wind and other biats.

We used this anchor a couple of times on the pontoon. It worked well. A WORD OF WARNING!! Make sure you tighten the swivel u-bolt after a few times of use. Thru the anchor out last weekend, pulled it up later and only had the swivel u-bolt on the end of the rope.Another anchor at the bottom of the lake

I was tired of my bulky fluke style anchor that came with my used 23 foot boat. It would sometimes drag and was taking one of my large compartments. I moved to this anchor after it was recommended to me by another boater. This anchor sticks to the bottom of the lake SO much better (actually need to tug it a bit to get it loose when leaving) and fits in the small front anchor compartment on my boat. I'm sure it will last forever and is a great value.
