STRONG THREAD: High quality (Workshop quality). The precise thread of this tool is very strong, so it will NOT damage the thread of cranks.
HEAT TREATED: The tool is made of heat-treated hardened quality steel. It is long-lasting little but powerful too.

Surprisingly high quality tool considering the price. Have already used on three bikes (six crank arms) with outstanding results. Just remember to put a little grease on the threads before use. Best of all it's NOT MADE IN CHY-NA. Two thumbs up!

I had to take out the black end piece and insert a steel rod in its place, and put a hex drill bit attachment in the bearing end so it had something solid to push up against. The threads were already stripped (I think) - but I don't see how this would work without some modification. Used on a Shimano square taper bottom bracket to get the crank arm to come off. Luckily, I had ordered a new bearing as well and planned on replacing the crankset and the bearing insert. Then when it came time to unscrew the bottom bracket I cut a slot down a 5/16" bolt and used some nuts as spacers with the bracket tool (not included) and it worked perfectly. Replace the bearing if you are having issues!

This tool was ever so slightly larger than my square taper opening. Cheap crankset and cheap tool, so not sure which sizing was incorrect.

I usually buy Park Tools for my bike tools, but TBH, this does the job perfectly well for a fraction of the price. It's not like I'm pulling cranks every day so this is perfectly fine and value for money.

This tool works well for pulling off the cranks of a bike. It is well worth it for the small investment to easily remove the cranks. It is a good quality tool in my opinion.

Have square tapered BB installed on my single speed. This tool is essential to remove the cranks to remove or make adjustments to the BB. This tool is easy to use. You will gain a technical skill and save money in the process. Other brands costs twice the price. Bypass the professional bike shop and remove the cranks yourself. This BIKEHAND Crank Removal Tool comes highly recommended.

This crank puller is solid. Not cheap white metal. Had a crank must have been put on by robots wouldn't move. Stripped the threads on a cheaper one. This one cracked the bolt loose and pulled the crank arm easy

Turned out the tool I had only worked with square tapered cranks. This worked perfectly to remove the crank arms from the ISIS splined spindle on my new CYC Photon cranks so I could add another spacer. It will work for square taper cranks as well. You'll need to supply your own wrench.

Just recieved this today and put it to work right away. Pulled some really seized cranks off a 25 y/o bike. The threads are well within tolerance unlike most other similar tools in this price range. Like others have stated, you need to remove the black cap off the end to use it for square tapered cranksets.
