This is a VERY useful little tray, something I would have found oh so helpful in days gone by. It is always a struggle to know where to put the small items you may need to access quickly and easily; like reeds, guitar strings, a change of mouthpiece, super glue (don’t ask), swabs, a tuner, etc. I’ve used a kind of music stand skirt with four or five pockets on it, but it is hard to see what’s in the pockets and size is very limited. This tray will work well for all of those and then some. As I’m sure every individual will say something about the size, I don’t want to be left out. It would be a lot more useful if it was about an inch longer in each dimension, just that little extra space so things don’t get stacked up or pushed off the edge. If the tray was tucked up against the music stand instead of stuck out about two inches, making it deeper wouldn’t have it protruding too far from the stand. And I would like it to be a little heavier duty so I could put a full cup of coffee on it without feeling it flex under the load (for practice, not for gigs).Attaching the tray is simple and straightforward and it seems to lock firmly in place with relative ease. And the overall build of the tray seems solid though, as I’ve said, maybe a little too thin. I’m happy to have this extra tool and expect to make use of it for years to come.I recommend it.Seriously, NO hot beverages on a stand tray during a gig! Ouch!

I really like this music stand tray. As you can see from the photo, I use it to provide easy access to my guitar picks and harmonicas. It was very easy to attach, and stays firmly attached to the music stand. Exactly what I needed; I'm glad I ordered it.

This is a handy tray for use in a studio or on stage, basically any place microphone stands or other vertical poles are around.I like that this stand is easy to attach and secure, and it is also stable. You open the screw clamp enough to get around the pole, then tighten the screw to clamp around the pole. The channel in the clamp keeps the stand level (relative to the pole) so you don't have to worry about the angle shifting or things sliding off, as long as your pole is stable. A lip on the surface also keeps items contained on the tray.My chief complaint is the size. It's a useful size, but it's not as big as a sheet of paper (though it's pretty close.) I just wish it was big enough to put pages on.

This clamp-on tray is a much larger version of an earlier version I already own. This one is about the same size as an iPad and works great for a mouse, IEMS, headphone amps, tuners, capos or anything else you need to keep close at hand whether in the studio or playing live. The ribbed construction on the bottom makes for a sturdy tray design and the rubber clamp jaws hold firmly and won’t move around on whatever stand you mount it too.Super fast setup and tear down. Lightweight and easy to pack and transport. Can’t beat the price either.

I ordered this to use with my photography light stands. I always need a place to put my light meter, my cell phone and other small items. I ordered a different tray first and, although it works well, this one is larger by enough to be more useful. It will attach tightly to my narrower light stands but it doesn't attach as secure when using it with my larger diameter c-stands. There is some wiggling when I attach it to one of those. (The c-stand has a 1 1/2" diameter.) I like how lightweight it is since it is made of plastic. I wouldn't put a lot of weight on it. It's fine for my cell phone and my light meter but I wouldn't put my camera or my iPad on it.

I got this tray to attach to my music stand for practicing violin at home. It's very handy for keeping my rosin and metronome close at hand. It attached easily to my stand and is just the right size for keeping what I need handy without being too large and in the way.

This think is pretty large and could easily hold a medium to large tablet. No problem with that or a phone and some smaller items but I wouldn't put too much weight on it.The tray is a bit weak although the clamp seems very strong.Holds onto the mic stand very securely. The clamp opening will just fit over the stand at its max opening however. It still had to snap over a bit to fit on.Good for holding pics and phones and maybe capos and slides on stage.
