Your cart is empty.BioGuard Spot Kill eliminates algae quickly and easily. It is highly soluble which makes it compatible for most pool surfaces. This product is approved for use in pools sanitized with chlorine and bromine (and should not be used in Soft Swim pools). The granular formula allows for direct application into the pool. This product is near pH neutral and will not upset the water balance. Spot Kill kills green or black algae. Product Dosage Light Algae Growth: 1 lb per 10,000 gallons of water. Heavy Algae Growth: 2 lb per 10,000 gallons of water.

Had black spots I could not get rid of. Wire brush, shock...nothing. Bought this. spread it over the spots...did not run the pump. I let it sit 24 hours. Could not believe it was gone. Just had one or two I had to scrub, but this time they came off!

Previous reviews were correct - Bioguard spot remover works exactly the way it said it would! We followed directions, left it overnight and voila, next morning the spots were gone. We are keeping the product on hand should the algae return. Thank you for a great product!
