I robed the cushions from the seat hardware a mounted the backrest a seat cushion to my original sliding seat base , sits low just right for me !

I had to readjust how seat sat in frame. But that was easy with just two bolts. It is a pretty well put together seat.

I ordered this to replace a similar seat bought 8 years ago. The old frame was good but the vinyl and cushion were gone. This seat looks good and is made of heavy steel. This is a generic seat. It does not bolt on like your factory seat. Holes will need to be drilled to fit the mounting base and you made need to make a bracket. I had already done this on the old seat and the mounting holes lined up perfectly with this one. My biggest complaint is the slop in the fit of the base and seat frame. Once I got it mounted the seat frame moved an inch or so from side to side inside the base. Too much wiggle for me. I considered returning it, but I needed the tractor so I decided to keep it. I took the seat and back cushion off the new frame and put it on my old frame. The two seats were not the same but close enough that I made it work. I would not buy this seat again

Anybody that has a riding mower can confirm that if you're mowing any kind of acreage. Your back will definitely be feeling the pain from all that movement on the ride. But this was definitely something I wish I would've invested in a long time ago. It's made mowing 3 acres a lot more pleasant.

Put this on my old Ford tractor the metal base and everything is so thin. Feels like it’s gonna just fall over to your left or right it just twist moves so easy the metals way too thin cheap cheap don’t buy
