This is no longer carried by any of my local suppliers. Have been using it for 20 years. It solves problems nothing else can since it's essentially gasket cement. Make sure you have rubbing alcohol available - keep a bottle of hand sanitizer with it - since it is alcohol soluble and a pain to clean up without alcohol. It will stain your hands for a week other wise. Hope it doesn't disappear from the market place forever. Also, make sure you close it up carefully after use or it will slowly set up in the can over time. Use alcohol to clean the threads first or you will need a channel lock to open it the next time you need it.

I bought this because of a you tube repair video. I used it with some success but I'm not sure it's as good or better than a good Teflon paste. Really messy to work with and a nightmare to get off your hands and tools.

I had a compressed air fitting that I couldn't get sealed up. Watched a video that recommended this product. So I gave it a try. Sure enough - this did the trick. Good purchase.

I have been using this thread sealer for over 22 years and have assembled 10's of thousands of NPT threaded joints with it. Rarely will I get a leak. I have used this alone and also with PTFE tape. The reason for the tape and the sealer used together is that most of my NPT joints are plastic Polypropylene/PVC/CPVC and Kynar. Sometimes plastic NPT joints/threads can be a little sloppy from manufacturer to manufacturer so using both in this scenario fills in the larger gaps and creates a leak free joint pretty much every time. In my experience it will NOT harden rock hard but will set up and remain pliable pretty much indefinitely . Once set up you can touch it and it will not want to stick back on you. This thread sealer does not have the little bits of PTFE in it like some of the other brands of thread sealer. The color of this stuff is a bluish green and it has an exceptionally smooth thick consistency. If properly applied it will not run. If you let it sit in the can for extended periods you will need to mix it with the included in-can brush before use. If I get it on my skin I use a strong alcohol like isopropyl or others to clean it off. The only annoyance I find with it is the rubber seal in the cap sometimes sticks to the rim of the can and comes out of the cap upon opening. I remedy this by putting a little bit of adhesive in between the inside of the metal cap and then put the rubber seal back in. I have tried other thread sealers but this is my go to product.
