This adapter does not have a built-in battery and can be powered by a power adapter or USB cable. This product is only a Bluetooth receiver, not a Bluetooth transmitter, and supports NFC to quickly connect to Bluetooth. Bluetooth capability is only available for use with existing stereo/powered speakers/PAs.

Inexpensive and allowed my Bose soundbar to easily connect to my Klipsch subwoofer (RCA input) for even more thunder. It paired very easily with my Bose software app and am able to use the app to control each (subwoofer and soundbar) volumes.

I got tired of band members holding their phone to the mic so we can share songs over the PA at practice. For $13 for this little doodad, we are able to put the phones directly into the PA. It has pretty clever output connections, with 1/8" stereo jack or stereo RCA out. I needed dual 1/4 inch out so had to use some adapters. Also doesn't come with a USB power supply, but I had quite a few lying around the house.
