Got this to chisel out mortar. Worked OK, didn't seem as effective as I would have liked. Chisel point goes in but does not break up to mortar, just makes a hole then I needed to find an angle to break out mortar.

I used this in combination with a 3 lb mini-sledge hammer and a flat chisel to remove some incredibly ugly brickwork. This tool was necessary for me to accomplish this, and worked great. It probably has much more life to give, as the edges all seem as keen as they were when it arrived.

This is a good tool for getting old mortar out from between bricks. I don't know how you would get by without one if you're doing any kind of masonry repair.

Great chisel for brickwork and repointing. I just sharpened it a little, but overall I would recommend it to my friends and buy it again if needed.

I am removing bad red brick from the front of my home and this was my go to chisel for removing debris from the back inside corners of the removed brick. Very durable. Looks like it will last forever.
