I use a standing desk and recently was issued a laptop. I needed a holder for the laptop that would allow me to utilize the screen as a second screen. This works perfectly for my needs. It does have a nice wood finish that looks good wit the wood grain desk. It also holds the weight of the laptop with no issue.

This book stand is sturdy, yet lightweight, and the 360° rotation is awesome for switching angles without fuss. I’ve used it for my study, propping up my tablet for video calls, and even holding a thick textbook while studying—it handles everything like a champ. The foldable design makes it easy to tuck away when I’m not using it, but honestly, it’s been on my desk more often than not. It feels solid, the page clips are super handy, and it’s just one of those tools you didn’t know you needed until you have it. Highly recommend for readers!

I have never used a product like this before and can't compare it to other things on the market. I purchased it to use on my desk for heavy books (textbooks, bible, large hardcover anthologies, etc. The overall construction and quality is really solid. The little arms that hold the pages fold to different angles and can be folded back completely out of sight if desired. The base ratchets and rotates, which is a feature I'm sure is listed in the product information that I just happened to overlook, but it was a pleasant surprise.This is very strong and has held even my heaviest books just fine.The only thing to note is that it is not easy to adjust. It comes with a large hex wrench and to tighten or loosen the angle of the holder you have to manually use the wrench on both sides. I had to get the joints pretty tight before they held my heavy books. If you expect to be re-adjusting the angle of this frequently, it may be a little cumbersome, but works fine for my purposes.Overall 35 dollars USD (as of the time of this review) feels a little steep for a book stand, but this has enough features and is well-built, so it's worth it.

Ever since COVID we’ve had a couple of stands we used for our iPhone or iPads when having FaceTime conversations with friends and family. Unfortunately, none were great to begin with and the best of them have recently started to slip at the angles but there is no way to tighten them. This stand is really going to solve those problems.The dark wood surface for the book or device looks great. It’s also large enough that a good sized book would fit as well as most laptops. I’ll have no problem with my iPad or 13 inch MacBook Air. If holding a book, there are page holders beneath the stand that can be exposed on each side to keep pages down. It’s perfect that they can be hidden out of the way when using devices.The hinges are very tight which should help ensure that the device or book stays at the angle that’s desired. What’s also great is that they provide a wrench to tighten the hinges if they loosen up later through use. I previously had a stand I liked, but once the hinges loosened there was nothing to do but dispose of it. It’s great that they’ve solved that problem.One very minor comment concerns on the lip at the bottom of the stand. I wish it was just a slight bit higher. It works fine though. Overall I really couldn’t ask for a better stand.

This is a well built stand that looks attractive. I tried it with my laptop, but even after tightening the bolts, it wouldn't stay in place. It would slowly collapse to be level instead of inclined. You can use it to display books or hold smaller cook books. Any larger cookbooks won't allow you to use the page clips. I already have a cookbook holder, and really wanted this to elevate my laptop.As far as adjustments, this moves easily so you can adjust height and angle. A wrench is included to tighten the bolts once you have it adjusted. Again, heavy objects will cause it to loose these adjustments. It swivels and it has clips that can be used to hold down book pages. These clips tuck underneath when not in use.

I am so glad I ordered this fantastic MOKURU book stand! I enjoy reading magazines while taking hot bubble baths, but I sometimes drop the magazines in the tub with me. This stand is the perfect solution. I didn't know if I'd be able to adjust it so that it's positioned almost perfectly upright but I happily can! The book stand's arms hold the magazine in place (though I'll have to move them to turn the pages). The arms can come around either the sides or the bottom of the stand (see photos).This book stand is good looking--I ordered the blonde wood. It arrived individually wrapped and well packaged in a sturdy cardboard box. It is a little difficult to move and position--you have to use some force--but I believe that's done purposefully so that the stand will hold the position you place it in, even when you place heavy books on it. The stand did arrive with an individually wrapped wrench for adjusting the tension, if you desire. I'm happy with my book stand just as it is.You can see the stand set at an almost 90-degree angle in my last photo. This is exactly what I need! Fingers crossed that it won't rust, being kept in the bathroom.I also think it would make a fantastic gift for people who:*like to use a recipe book or even just a printed-out recipe while cooking*enjoy reading in the tub (if they have a tray that goes across the top edges of the tub)*love reading in either the seated or standing position*like to watch videos on their phones or tablets (movies, YouTube, TikTok)I wholeheartedly recommend this book stand! I'm so happy with mine!
