This system fit right into all of the stock hangers great. The sound of it at idle is a soft rumble (slightly louder than stock) then as you put RPM's through it the volume opens up and you hear the deep throat of the V8. The tone is noticeable, but I don't consider it to be loud. It is louder than the stock system and does sound a lot better. I received everything in one very well packaged box, so I give Borla a A+ for packaging!

The fit is not perfect. Had to adjust about 20 times and still bumps the heat shield by gas tank. Description on this syatem is so limited here and on borlas site. Does not state the size of muffler outlet pipes as they are tiny. They give you no info on the sound you can expect to get out of it. My LS1 sounds like a f#%*&#g Jap car. I replaced my FLOWMASTER that sounded way way deeper and more like a muscle car. I had to buy straight pipes to eliminate my cats to get any soung from this Borla system. I should have kept the flowmaster and just got rid of the cats. The tiny pipes from the muffler into the megaphone tips are so stupid and makes it sound like s***.I really expected way more from borla. The goos thing is it wont rust. Anyone want to buy it from me?
