The Bosch GKF125CEK Colt Variable Speed Palm Grip Router puts routing power and precision in the palm of your hand. The GKF125CEK has an ergonomic palm-grip design with soft-grip circuitry to make it very comfortable to hold, making it typically easier to use than larger routers. But it also has ample power, with a 1.25 max HP rating. It is far more than a laminate trimmer, as it is the ideal tool for putting round-overs on deck railings, mortizing hinges, slot cutting, and much more. Soft-Start Circuitry
The soft-start circuitry reduces start-up torque, and the Constant Response circuitry monitors and maintains speed under load for consistent performance. The PR101 fixed base accepts bits up to 1-5/16 inches wide for a wide bit capacity. The round, translucent polycarbonate subbase can be centered for worry-free guidance along the templates.

Really nice, powerful router. Unfortunately, the spindle lock doesn't engage the spindle to allow the bits to be tightened completely - they will get snug...just, but not tight. This is a serious safety flaw.

If you're considering this router, you're looking at a very good model.Excellent power. Great ergonomics. No play in the collet or bits. Switch is on the front where you won't accidently hit it. The light on this newer model is nice to have. It's nice and bright.I purchased mine on the Amazon Renewed area. It looks and performs like new. I was missing the original owner's manual, but a paper copied version was in the box. It was worth it for the discounted price.

What a solid tool for finer routing jobs. Starts without any jolt and can handle any kind of finishing router job. Even used it for mortising for a hinge and it worked perfectly. Great price for a well built tool.

I bought this router and a hinge jig to cut the mortises for the hinges of five interior doors I replaced. It may be the only time I ever use the router, so buying a reconditioned one made sense to save money. Aside from a nick in the plastic part of the router housing that suggested it was bumped into something or dropped, it was like new in its condition. All the original parts, attachments, and user's manual were included. It worked great for the job. I have no regrets about this purchase.

Like new palm router but the locking button for the bit chuck will not go in the hole of the collar to lock the chuck to enable bit changes. I have to use a small vise grip plier when changing bits. Someone didn't check that before it was packaged. Otherwise very handy sized palm router at about half of what new ones cost.
