This is a good quality short SDS bit I use frequently for making holes in concrete walls for 1/4" plastic conical anchors to mount small electrical boxes and control boards. The bit is only 4" long overall has a 2" usable length which makes it better for use in tight places with my cordless SDS-plus rotary hammer.

Makes fast clean holes. Binds a little if you drill past the flutes. I used this mostly for anchor kits.

I was drilling into centuries old cement and having no luck with my masonry bit and my cordless Makita hammer drill. So I borrowed a friend's (much more serious) hammer drill and bought 2 of these bits, figuring that I would break one of them along the way. This did not happen - the bit performed very, very well - drilling into the concrete with ease and speed.I would recommend this bit to anyone drilling into concrete with a SDS drill bit fitting.
