Worked fine for 8th inch mild steel. Used a variable speed jigsaw on low speed. Also used cutting fluid. Take your time. The blade will do its job.

These blades didn't last very long cutting very thin metal. I bought Bosch because of the name for quality, but was very disappointed.

I tried these after frustration using normal and carbo blades in a hacksaw. These did the job great and after several cuts were only beginning to dull. Great value.

Blades allowed me to cut a five inch circle in 1/8 thick steel and then trim it a little larger. Used with a high quality cutting oil. However a cut through an entire sheet failed and I had to switch to the seawall instead. Overall though for smaller detailed projects in steel these will be my new go to blade.

I used these to do some case mods on a new aluminum case, and they cut very well... with no binding. Straight lines and curves (arc was the same as a 140 case fan blowhole) and it just slices right through. Very clean cut! Have also used them to cut some sheet steel cases... and they do well for that also... just have to go a little bit slower with the high TPI.
