I have a modern Fender acoustic guitar. Not exactly an obscure guitar. These pegs were way too fat to fit into the holes in the bridge. It took me an hour to carve them to size with a knife. And! I had to buy the knife, because they are so hard that my regular pocket knife would not cut them. The knife was close to $20, and I only needed it for this job. So this was an expensive, tedious project. I have yet to take the guitar on a gig, so I can't say how well they are going to work on the job. I am going to try to play the heck out of the guitar for the next couple of days before i take it to my gig. I do not recommend these, unless you want a project and have a very sharp knife.

These pins offer a great bag for you buck. They are very consistent in size, shape and inlay. When replacing my plastic pins on my twelve string there was a noticeable difference in volume and tone. It brought more bass to the guitar. The inlays are subtle but nice. They came completely dried out but after a little fretboard oil they were beautiful. If you are hesitating because they are cheap, don't they are great!

Certainly better than plastic, tone wise. Nice and clear in combination with my rosewood bridge. As a bonus, if you play percussively, you can get a scratch plate noise from them by lightly and quickly gliding the flesh of your wrist over them.

These are quite nice. delivery was super fast, I bought them because the original plastic pins I had wore out. These Rosewood pins are nothing fancy, but they fit my Yamaha FG700 well. Tone- wise, they are a big improvement in my guitar's sustain, something I am pleasantly surprised with. They are a bargain at this price.

Took a gamble of if there were actually rosewood and luckily it paid off! Looks like it may be Indian rosewood but not 100% sure. Perfect replacement for standard plastic molded bridge pins

Fit in my old Honda guitar but did require some oil on the head because they are very dried out looking. I think they improved the sound to a fuller richer sound. To be fair I did replace the saddle at the same time to bone but just on looks along these are well worth the cost

These are out of stock now, so I don't know if a review is any use. Nice pins - smallish with slender "shanks." They stay in my bridge ok though. They are discreet and look very cool on a rosewood bridge. That is what I was going for when choosing them. I definitely prefer them over my bone pins. Subjective though of course. Fairly decent dot inlays. For a few bucks I'm happy. My thanks to Amazon for making many different pins (a niche buyer item) available. Strum on. GW

These arrived, and I love them, but they are not exactly as described. They are definitely abalone, and not pearl. I don't mind the added color, and the rosewood looks soooooo much better than the cream plastic pins that came standard. I wanted pearl to match the fret inlay, but I'm not complaining. A splash of color works alright. As another reviewer mentioned, they came very dry. I mean DRY. but a little oil and they are fine. I'm going to order a few more sets just to have as replacements and for another guitar or two. It's funny, how the rosewood on rosewood looks really nice, but it doesn't draw your eye in. Honestly it's like you don't recognize they are there, but you see the cheap plastic pins from a mile away, and not in a good way. These pins aren't going to get people to really notice them, but it will prevent seeing those ugly white spots on the bridge.
