This really sucks first it squashes a fresh bagel , day old bagel it goes through but doesn't slice all the way through it gets stuck ( see picture) then we trued to pull it off and cut my hand ugh. It's flimsy and not worth the money trust me .

This bread/bagel slicer is the cheapest piece of junk I have ever bought on Amazon. The plastic is so flimsy the bread tray won't stay in the closed postiion. The bagel slicer is so large you can't secure a bagel in position to slice it completely trough, you only wind up stabbing it. After trying a few times I packed it up and returned. I have no idea how anyone could write a positive review of this piece of junk, its ashame I can't give it 0 stars.

It cuts bagels but the process could be smoother. The quality is average and you could probably spend a little more to get one that is of better quality materials.
