Very low quality fabric. Half of the black fabric is disintegrated straight out of the package. It's a nice size, would fit guinea pigs, puppies, kittens etc as well. I like that it's fully enclosed including the top so predators can't get the chicks during outdoor time. Instead of mesh though a solid top would be preferable to protect them from the sun/heat. By contrast I wish more of the sides were mesh (only 2 of the 6 sides are mesh are). It's a nice concept but since the fabric is so cheap and deteriorating on day one, I unfortunately can't recommend this product.

This is easy to set up and clean. It is pretty durable and folds nicely. I wish it was a little more stable and even with the top on and the sides closed, water still gets in it. Better for inside or sunny day use only.

Even though we're right at the of winter and can't put this Chicken Brooder Box to use just yet, I've got my eye on it, eagerly anticipating the arrival of the new chicks that will be joining our flock in the coming months. As a seasoned chicken owner, I know how important it is to have the right setup in place to ensure the little ones get off to the best possible start, and this brooder box is shaping up to be perfect for our needs. The first thing that caught my attention was the thoughtful design, with its double door setup and ample interior space. I can already envision the new chicks strutting around, exploring their cozy new home while staying snug and secure. The fact that it can accommodate up to 15 baby chicks, ducks, or quail is an added bonus, giving me the flexibility to expand our feathered family as needed.Another feature I'm really excited about is the mesh sides. Not only do they provide essential airflow to keep the brooder well ventilated, but they also allow me to keep a close eye on the chicks without constantly having to lift the lid. This is going to be a huge time saver, especially during those first few critical weeks when I'll be checking on them multiple times a day.The overall construction of this brooder box also has me feeling confident in its durability. The sturdy plastic materials and reinforced frame seem built to withstand the inevitable rambunctiousness of curious chicks, as well as the occasional bumps and scrapes that come with everyday use. I have a feeling this is going to be a long lasting addition to our coop setup. However, the lack of a built in heating element, for instance, means I'll need to source a separate heat lamp or warming plate to keep the little one's cozy. And while the double doors are a great feature, I do wish the latches were a bit sturdier to prevent any potential escapes. That said, these small issues are easily manageable, and they certainly don't detract from the overall value this brooder box is going to bring to our chicken rearing operation. In the coming months, as we welcome our new fluffy additions, I know this enclosure is going to be an absolute lifesaver, providing a safe, comfortable space for them to thrive.Whether I'm setting up a small, temporary brooder in the garage or transitioning the chicks to a larger outdoor enclosure, this versatile box is going to be a constant companion. And with its easy to clean design, I'm looking forward to the hassle-free maintenance it'll provide, freeing up more time for me to simply enjoy watching our newest feathered friends grow and explore. While I can't give this Chicken Brooder Box a full performance review just yet, I'm extremely excited to put it to the test as soon as spring arrives. Its thoughtful design, ample size, and durable construction have me confident it's going to be an invaluable asset in the coming chick-rearing season.

Fairly certain this was a return. It was just loose in the cardboard box with no instructions. Once popped out, I knew how to twist and break it back down just because I already had a baby tent that worked the same way. Without knowing this already and no instructions, compacting back again would be super difficult. It popped out with no issues and all the pieces were there. However, the whole tent showed wear throughout and there's a tear in one corner. I can sew it myself - but because of the material, it's going to be a temporary fix before the material just starts tearing again.Needless to say, I'm disappointed.

Plenty of space for our four chicks. They are even jumping off a branch we put in there and flying around. Sturdy, good value.

I have chickens that will be hatching very soon by a mama hen and this is going to be the perfect little hatchery for them. I know chickens are really messy and get really gross, but since this is made out of plastic, it should be very easy to put some shredded wood chips in here and then clean it out when it's all done spray it out and let air dry in the sun. It's gonna be fantastic. It does allow light to come in from the top. It's a nice little dark space for them they can relax they can enjoy themselves. They're protected and they're very easy to transport as well. If you're just getting Baby checks from the store, this is also a solid way of raising little baby chicks and then collapsing your tent back up into a very small portable little pocket where it doesn't take up too much space and it's very cost effective overall I do like this little pen, you can raise ducks in here as well. I know they get super wet, but ducks would be OK. Chickens will be OK. Little turkeys would be OK for our time and it's easy to get a few of them and put them all together and raise them up altogether.

Picked up this collapsible chick brooding box, and it’s been a life saver. Super easy to set up, you just pop it open, and it holds its shape well with the wire frame. The fabric sides keep everything contained while still allowing good airflow, and the mesh top makes it easy to check on the chicks without them hopping out. Plenty of space for a small batch, and when I’m done, it folds down flat for easy storage. Cleaning is a breeze since the material wipes down well, and it’s lightweight enough to move around if needed. Way better than dealing with bulky wooden setups, especially if you don’t brood chicks year-round. If you want something simple, sturdy, and easy to store, this is a solid pick.

Before I ordered this chick brooder, I watched the video on the product page.I knew that I'd never get it down the the size shown on the video, but I would be satisfied if I could fold it down to the size just before it's twisted into a little ball, but was flat. When it arrived, I told my husband, "DO NOT OPEN THIS!" because I knew it would likely "explode" to its full size and I might struggle getting it back into storage before our chicks arrive in March. That's just three weeks away, so I thought I'd best open it and let it spring up to its final size to make certain it will meet my needs when the little chicks arrive.I'm happy to say that I think this will be a very acceptable brooding space for baby chicks. In the past, I've raised chicks in a tall, long, metal stock tank with shavings and a welded wire top. I kept it out in the shed that I turned into a coop, so the stock tank was within the varmint proof roosting space inside the shed. Back then I had to order 25 chicks or they wouldn't ship them. This time, I'm older and I have mobility issues. I want to keep the chicks much closer to home, maybe inside my large office. I was also able to place an order for just 15 chicks. I think this brooder will be perfect. It's 45" wide, and I think that will work well until we move the chicks to their coop, and a larger brooder space.I'm confident this will function very well and I will be able to fold it back down to at least the second to last step where it'll be flat enough to store easily.
