Worst printer I have ever owned. It has frequent paper jams and a nearly impossible-to-get-at rear paper jam removal. It stopped duplex printing about 8 months after I bought it. It stopped copying a couple of months ago. Totally worthless. not buy this printer. Brother should be ashamed at itself for selling it.

These printers are excellent. The users like it, I like it due to low cost of operation and maintenance. I find them running better than the competitor offering. I have many Brother Mono Lasers in operation and have yet to have any major issues, regardless of how much the users abuse it.

This is a great printer. I took it out of the box, pluged it in and it works great. Easy set up. I got the monochrome (black and white) printer because that's all I need and didn't want to mess with the color.

Easy to setup, easy print driver install and the office staff were able to use it right away. One thing that stood out for me was the fact that staff can use it to Scan to USB to digitize documents when needed. This is the backup I wanted in the event our Main AIO Scan to email was down until it could be repaired, without spending thousands. It really is a great product at this price point! Perfect for a small office.

I purchased another printer and it was awful. I returned it and got this one. Very easy setup and works great. A little large but does a great job and the toner lasts a very long time.

DO NOT BUY! Worst tech purchase ever!!!! Bought it for the laser function for a big project. It took weeks to set up over weekends before I could send something to print. Had to install, uninstall, reinstall and repeat, repeat, repeat. Kept falling back on my 10-year-old HP that I was replacing. Could not get the printer to communicate with the computer beside it. When it does print, the lights in my office flash (sadly, that's how I know it's working). Will not scan to my computer . Have to use USB. Drops off my internet-constantly re-entering my Wi-Fi password. No response when I send to print. An hour or more later, it randomly spits out the printed page. Use it mostly as a copier now. Must frequently unplug and replug to get it to work, reset password and pray! Quality is mediocre and slow. I would have returned except it took so long to get it functional before finding the chronic problems that it was too late to return. Oh, and although it ignores my Wi-Fi, it is able to see my new smart range in case I never need to print to my oven, I guess. Bought an Epson ink jet the same week. Installed with no problems! Works perfectly. Office lights just flashed, and this puppy just kicked on by itself (for real!!!!). Must see what I printed hours ago. DO NOT BUY
