All three power supplies were dead on arrival

I purchased two of these. One quit working within a day. I checked the output voltage on the other while using a 0-10v dimmer. It should stay at 24v, but dropped to 19v with dimming. LEDs don’t like that. Overall feature rich, but poor quality. I do like this brand’s LEDs, but these are not good.

I've gotten many power supplies that either didn't output the amps they claimed they would, or got too warm at the amp limit they advertised. I didn't expect this from a BTF product, as they're a quality vendor. And, no surprise, it does exactly what it says it does. I'm 100% comfortable using this transformer in permanent wiring setups, such as under-cabinet or in-bookshelf lighting. The power supply is not a place to cut corners, given the risks of inferior quality product. With BTF, you're definitely not cutting corners *and* you're not breaking the bank. I probably sound like a BTF fanboy, but I've used *so* many LEDS and power supplies from *so* many vendors, and I'm just intolerant of less-than-advertised products, or more-hassle-than-required devices. BTF simply does a great job on the consistent-quality side of things without trying to charge a massive premium.

Mean Well products always seem high quality. The housing is well built, has appropriate covers for terminals, etc.

this transformer/power supply is very easy to wire to the power and LED strip! Our installation was very good especially for our first time working with LED strips. the BTF website has good utilities for getting the correct size power supply for your number of LEDs. The only thing to be aware of is there is a noticeable lag as the power supply starts up.

Despite this supply looking like one of those tiny little LED supplies that I have found don't meet output voltages or currents anywhere close to claimed, it is not - it is a bigger supply (physically) that actually does what it says.I was able to get 2.5 A without this getting really hot or seeming like it was going into meltdown mode. It fed 2.5A and barely changed its voltage out. In fact, it is one of the most precise supplies I have seen as it outputs very close to 24 V at 2.5 A or almost exactly 60W, and doesn't significantly sag as current is increased. It will go higher, but I did not test that. Rather it seems that 60W is a comfortable margin for this supply. After 10 minutes at full load, it just gets a little warm to the touch. Much cooler than the smaller supplies out there.I used a 0-10V dimmer of the style of a little dial of the kind you see all over Amazon. It worked fine for this, but I wasn't able to test current output to really low voltage levels because it uses a PWM mode and the DC load is no longer valid. It appears to be a spread-spectrum PWM. I didn't test in Triac mode, but I assume this will become a 60Hz PWM. The dimmer did have some weird behavior, like one time I had to turn it down to 0 before turning it back up to get voltage out. It left me tracking down a little more to see that there actually is 10V coming from the pins, so it could work with a resistor dimmer like I have as well as an applied voltage. The input impedance is 380K, and the potentiometer I used is 430K, both are within spec to other 0-10V dimmers I have measured. The binding posts, again unlike smaller versions, actually will take 14 AWG wire versus 20 AWG or so. The 10V lines are a push connector/quick release and it took tinned 18 AWG wire with no issues.Bottom line - this seems to be a very solid unit and one that I would not question in terms of design or build quality.

The BTF DC power supply isn’t the cheapest option, but it’s reliable and well-suited for DIY projects involving BTF LED strips.I purchased this power supply to ensure consistent performance during extended operation for my art installations using a PC running TouchDesigner for audio- and motion-reactive light sequences.Overall, it’s a great product from a trusted brand—definitely worth the investment if reliability is a priority for your projects.

Got everything wire in very easy. Connected a smart dimmer switch allowing me to wirelessly control it from anywhere. No buzzing or humming
