I have a buck 2700 stove. Bought fan thermostat to replace my failed factory one. Put it in exact same spot factory one was. And so far not impressed. Stove was very warm when low turned on which was fine, but it didn't switch to med until stove was way to hot I had to put fan back into manual (high). The thermostat never switched to high even when stove was starting getting way to hot you could smell it. For the price I'm not impressed. And I'm probably gonna return it in a day or 2.

The mounting plate was different than the original one so we drilled out the rivets and mounted it on the other plate but so far, the thermostat is working perfectly on low, med and high control of the blower motor. It has only been tested on (5) fires so far but overall I am happy with it for my Buck wood stove.

This item works, but getting one that does is the problem. It took two tries to get one that functions. Shipping was very good.
