Handel was destroyed in 30 min. It says you can use it with a steel hammer ( but not for long).

I used a 16 Oz claw hammer. The handle on the chisel cracked on the first strike. The chisel handle broke on third strike. Gentle strikes, the chisel went through maple wood 1/4" thick x 2" wide. No issues with the function. I'm going to have to make a handle to support the hexagonal shaft that is soldered into the chisel. To prevent bending. I would not recommend this product.

The cutting edge was a bit dinged on arrival. Seems like the packaging normally should mostly prevent dings, so no idea why. Hopefully not many are dinged in shipping. I'll just sharpen it out when I get around to it. The smaller sizes I got at the same time weren't dinged and I rated those 5 stars.
