Putting this on an older Mongoose Dolomite. Unfortunately, it is evident that this was a return (packing tape on both ends) but it seems complete. I am still in the process of install because I needed some additional spacers (+17mm over the 30mm stock on Dolomite) because I don't want to cut it down and wouldn't mind it being a little taller. Also, note it does not come with star nut installed so you will have to do that. I purchased a cheap installation tool that had 3 star nuts included. Will update when I get it installed and try it out. **UPDATE** Lost another star. At the point where the shock tube starts, at top, is the point where the widest part of the tire is. Unfortunately, it is only 4.5" wide. My 26x4" tire when inflated is 4.5" wide. This is going to cause me to grind a couple mm off each side to give some clearance. The solid fork it is replacing is 6" wide at that point.

When i unboxed the forks there was no bubble wrap or anything to protect the forks from damages. Once i installed the forks with a friend who works at a bike shop we noticed the rim was not exactly centered but more leaning towards the brake side not to mention paint remove bottom drop out . After 16+messages between seller and i i got very frustrated. We tried adding washers adding smaller nuts nothing can fix the forks . Seller offered a parcel refund to keep the forks .15 or so hours later sell only offered $8.00 refund. I felt insulted deserted let down no help what soever. After customer service with Amazon i finely got a full refund and the forks very much scrapped. Again please don't waste your money on these forks safe yourself a nightmare. Customer service sucked no help . Update got refund by amazon

Bought these coil suspension forks for a Rambo Savage ebike. They were a direct drop in and much cheaper than the Forks listed on the Rambo website which they were out of. At 65 years old I like to have some dampening when I ride. So far these have done the trick.

Worked well enough on a customers bike when I couldn’t get a fat fork through my vendors. Quality-wise it gets close to the cheap SR Suntour forks.

For whatever reason, the steer tube is about an inch a half shorter than the stock steer tube of two other bikes - the E-bike I was putting it on (a Rize X) and an older ebile I've had for a couple years. (Rad Rover) This created a lot of hassle and expense trying to extend the steer tube, as the handlebar stem had almost nothing to attach to. Maybe 1/4 of what was needed. Took a lot of bushfix engineering to find a solution, so my advice is to ensure the steerer tube is long enough.Aside from that, the fork seems decent and the brakes bolted on nicely.

I had asked question before ordering this if this fit the Mongoose Malus. It definitely does. There are a few things on the old fork that you need to remove in order for the bearings to fit properly so you definitely need a long drift punch. You also have to very carefully get out the bottom bearing seat from your old fork with a hammer and a thin punch to unseat it. The diameter of the fork itself is ever so slightly smaller but you can’t really tell. At any rate it rides like a very different bike! I’m very happy with it.
