Installed this after my previous bushing rotted out, left me stuck in drive and had to block up my tires.Ordered this re replace the OEM bushing, however it won't stay on the transfer case and pops off easily.This product has left me stuck crawling under my car in the rain many time, and I will be buying from a different supplier for my Jeep so I do not have to rely on Zip Ties to keep it all together.

This bushing replaced the original one which broke and disconnected the transfer case shift cable from the lever on the transfer case. The new bushing fit onto the cable end with minimal fuss. There was some difficulty pressing the cable end/bushing onto the pin of the transfer case shift lever. A closer look revealed that there was some old bushing remaining on the pin. Following complete removal, the new bushing snapped easily into place, and the transfer case shifts like new. Maybe 10 minutes work. Easier if the front wheels are raised on a ramp, wheels chocked, parking brake set, etc.

OEM transfer case grommets made of plastic that do not hold up and break often... These bushing are soft and durable... Easier to shift and have held up very well...I recommend these...

Easy to install and worked as intended...only problem is it only worked for about a year. In comparison the OEM part worked for THIRTEEN years b4 it failed...something more durable would be nice even if the cost was higher.

Lost whatever OEM bushing was on the end of the shifter cable, and it popped loose.The only other option I found was buying a whole new shifter cable for one hundred seventy five bucks, then spending a couple hours pulling all the interior trim and shifter handle and replacing.I installed this replacement bushing in literally 15 seconds. Works fine. My only question is will it stay put?

Being able to order this part on Amazon enabled me to save hundreds of dollars! My daughter is linkage on her jeep to the transmission came disconnected when the tow truck driver explained me what they thought the issue was I looked up the part on Amazon and was able to change it out for the cost of the part.
