Buyers Products K80 Series Multi-Function PTO/Pump Valve has a dual lever design for feathering, disengaging, and spring return options. The dual-color sleeves designate feathering and automatic disengage; white sleeve designates feathering; and orange sleeve designates automatic disengage. Certain models (K80F, K80DF, K85F, K85DF) provide full range feathering qualities. Valve regulates pressure from 10 to 125 PSI and is designed for dump trucks, dump trailers, transfer trailers, live floor trailers, asphalt/live bottom trailers, bottom dumps, side dumps, platform dumps, and others. I purchased it because they show the valve in the tower. So you think you’re getting the tower. You only get the valve. No where in the ad does it say that the tower is not included.

This is the best choice in my opinion of the Buyers hoist control valves. It is not a common configuration. Most dealers do not stock it. It is Non-disengage. The disengage option automatically disengages the pto when you move the hoist to the down position. Good so that you don’t forget your pto in and burn up your pump, but not good if you do any spreading and have to drop your bed midspread for a power line or tree branch. It is a feathering valve which means you can let your bed down slowly with a load on it. If you have a non-feathering valve you will not be able to lower your bed safely loaded. It is ALSO non-spring return which means the hoist lever stays where you leave it. It can be placed in the down position and there is no need to hold it there until you bed has come all the way down.

Ad is a little misleading. The picture shows it mounted in a metal box. This is what I was expecting. What came was just the valve assembly. Quality appears to be good

This is not an accurate description of the product. The valve comes with no cabinet and an invoice indicating the part was $40 less than they actually charged. Amazon customer service was not helpful except to say it could be returned.
