This device was super easy to install with just a few steps that are well detailed in the instructions. I installed in a 2020 Toyota Tundra 1794 edition. Android Auto now instantly connects to the truck every time with SiruisXm playing my favorite music. It also shows my map app on the truck's display. This is such a tiny device that greatly improves the enjoyment of driving the truck. No more plugging in my phone - just start the truck and drive on with the phone wirelessly connected with the map, music and phone calling and text messages. This is a no brainer. I highly recommend this device.

The device connected easily and worked great for a few weeks, then started getting messages "Connected device not detected " Then stopped connecting altogether. The blue light just flashing. Now, I can't return because the 30 day return period is over.

This worked out as a quick solution for me, after having tried an alternative brand that didn't work at all in my 2023 VW Golf GTI. I have wired Android Auto in the "Infotainment" System, but not wireless. This adapter comes with USB-C and USB-A, as well as, small adapters in case you need them to reach ports. I took the cap off the USB-C head, plugged it into the front port, and within 2 minutes tops, I was connected via wi-fi and bluetooth and able to use the Waze App! I haven't tried the NFC tags, though presumably that would make it quicker if I regularly switched bluetooth settings; as it happens, I went for the bluetooth and wi-fi approach and it serves my needs well.Oh, and there was good support literature in the small box! If I needed something similar, I'd order from these folks again.

We plugged the device in to the USB port, scanned the NFC sensor tool on our phone, and after pairing it connected just as if the phone were plugged directly into the USB port. Now we don't have to worry about getting the phone out and plugging it in. Just get in the vehicle with the phone in our pocket or purse and drive away. Very convenient. Highly recommended.Works great for multiple users. Just pair to each device as described above, then whoever was the last user to connect will automatically get connected the next time you use it. If you're not the most recent user just go into the blue tooth settings on your phone and connect to the device. Very simple. You use the NFC sensor tool only the first time you connect a phone that's never been connected before.I set this up for both of us in the vehicle usually driven by my wife, made sure she was the most recent user, and this morning when she left to run an errand it connected automatically. She received phone calls and was able to see the Waze map on the vehicle's screen. No muss, no fuss.

I’ve been using the ByteWave Android Auto Wireless Adapter for a couple of weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. Setting it up was quick and straightforward – just plugged it into my car’s USB port, and it connected to my phone in no time. I didn’t need any extra apps or complicated steps, which was a huge plus. What really stands out is how seamlessly it works. My phone connects automatically every time I start the car, and everything runs smoothly, whether it’s maps, music, or calls. There’s no lag or interruptions, and it feels just as reliable as the wired connection I used before – but without the hassle of dealing with a cable.I also appreciate the compact design. It’s small enough that it doesn’t clutter my car, and I honestly forget it’s even there most of the time. It just quietly does its job, which is exactly what I wanted.Overall, it’s made my everyday driving so much easier. If you’ve been thinking about going wireless with Android Auto, I’d definitely recommend this adapter. It’s a simple upgrade, but it makes a big difference.

This was super easy to hook up and has worked perfectly and without fail since I received it. It is fairly compact and slips right in and is not in the way. I also purchased the organizer tray on Amazon for inside the cubby and it works easily with that and didn't interfere. The only thing I would add is that many mornings on the way to work I do have to connect my phone through the screen. I have noticed that if I would just be patient, it will connect automatically. I'm clearly not patient as I make a couple of phone calls on my drive and want it connected immediately. It's an easy connect through the screen so I didn't deduct stars for that.

Sorry, but it's not working for me! Got connected everything (wifi, bluetooth and no other device connected to the phone), as the photo shows, but it's still showing instructions only! (Also on photo) When I touch the screen on the radio just get out from the app, I need to tap again the Android Auto icon and see again only the info. Tried to update this item (hoping that is the issue), but when I trying to put in the password (which is should be 12345678, according to the guide what's came with), saying wrong password! So I couldn't figure it out how it is working! Any help would be great! I've got a Peugeot 2008.

Shipped quickly, product arrived well packed. Product looks slick and matches my cars interioir. This adapted is cheaper than the competition but works just as well, setup was super straight forward. Definitely would buy this again.

I would recommend this adaptor to others. Its a budget friendly solution to get rid of wires from your dashboard. Compact size, easy to setup, but connection is poor sometimes and drops the audio quality. Good product but lots of scope for improvement.

Update:I recently ordered a wireless dongle that, unfortunately, was faulty. However, the seller kindly replaced it. I have now tried the new one, and it works perfectly. It connected without issues, and there is no lagging or freezing while streaming media. I am now satisfied with this product and have updated my rating from one star to four stars, as I still think there should be better quality control to avoid similar situations.__________________________________________Original ReviewThe dongle was not working as intended. It was cutting out and freezing my media unit to the level that I couldn't use my reverse camera. This makes the device unsafe and unusable. Returned.

I bought this for my new MG HS PHEV which only has wired Android Auto connection. It paired immediately and easily with my three year old Motorola phone and is small and unobstrusive once installed. All the usual Android Auto functions are available and the car’s voice control button works perfectly with it. It connects with my phone without fail every time I get in the car but if my phone is not present, it brings up a screen full of Bluetooth gobbledegook. Pressing the “home” button in the car brings back the car’s Home Screen without issue. The only thing I have not tried so far is connecting a second phone - my wife’s. Not sure how it will deal with that if both phones are present.
