I was towing with the 1,000 lbs bars and it felt like there was too much flex and bounce on some highway surfaces. My tongue weight averages 900 pounds but can be close to 1,000 if my water tank is full. The 1200 rating spring bars greatly improved the ride. You might have to slightly move the brackets on the trailer frame to get a perfect fit, but this takes very easy and takes two minutes per side.If you are getting too much bounce and porpoising, the fix might be as easy as swapping out your spring bars. As a footnote, air bags or helper springs, especially on half ton trucks, make a huge difference as well. My RAM 1500 was scary to tow with until I added air bags.

I had the 1,000lbs bars but updated to the 1200lbs. What a difference as far as bounce goes. So far so good! Trump 2024!

These were an upgrade to the 1000# bars I had. I am very pleased with their performance. Recommend the Camco R6 hitch highly@

I needed to upgrade my hitch from 1000 lb. to 1200 lb because I just purchased a larger trailer and could not completely level my vehicle. These bars are a little shorter but much beefier than the 1000 lb bars. I haven't tried them yet but am hopeful they do the job.

This product is perfect to enhance the R3 WDS. When you buy a camper the hitch weight numbers are dry. Once you load the camper with propane, water, personal items the numbers change crating a dangerous towing condition.

Took all the bounce away when towing my camper compared to the 1000lb bars I previously had.
