CamKix DSLR Hot Shoe Mount Adapter Kit
Use the CamKix Hot Shoe Mount Adapter Kit to attach your Phone or GoPro Hero to the flash mount of your DSLR Camera. Suitable for Gopro Hero 8 Black, Hero 5 Black / Session, Hero 4 Black / Silver / Session and other action cameras or iPhone, Samsung and most other phones.
Record your photo shoot with your Phone or GoPro Hero camera. Or use an app on your Phone to measure the lighting, monitor your DSLR camera or even control your DSLR camera. You can also use your Phone to edit and post your DSLR pictures.
The Universal Phone Holder and the GoPro Mount can both be rotated and tilted to provide you the ideal position for recording, monitoring or controlling. The Phone Holder connects in landscape or portrait mode and can hold phones with a width between 2.24" (5.7 cm) and 3.18" (8.1 cm).
If you remove the Hot Shoe Mount, the GoPro Mount and the Universal Phone Holder can also be connected to a large or compact tripod.

It does come well equipped with things that you might need to connect to your tripod. But, the clip is, to me at least, is kind of small with the phone I'm having. Regardless, this is one of the basics you can get for its price.

I purchased this to attach to my camera to hold my IPhone during air shows and rocket launches. This allows me to shoot stills with my camera and video with the phone at the same time. Nice little set up.

I put things together without instructions all the time. However, this mount is a bit complex and it would help to have had guide in order to correctly assemble the mount. Otherwise, it seems sturdy.

Great mount for your phone. Should work with most phones but I use and iPhone. The quality is good and the price was right. I use this for time lapse videos and it holds my phone securely.

This is a fantastic product that is well made but I really wish the fasteners weren't loose. I wish they had hard stops at the highest allowable height. Rather, the way they are currently set up, they are kind of floating so they could potentially loosen over time.I also find it extremely difficult to get them screwed on straight... as soon as you get one right, the other one has moved.Overall worth the price though.

Ich habe eine Mögllichkeit gesucht, mein Huawei P20 Pro sowohl auf ein Stativ als auch auf den Blitzschuhadapter meiner Canon 7D zu befestigen. Zum Einen auf ein Stativ, um die Möglichkeiten der Zeitrafferaufnahmen zu testen, zum anderen auf den Blitzschuhadapter, um eventuell neben den Fotos der DSLR auch "Making Of" oder kleine Videos zu drehen. Also DInge, die noch nicht ganz ausgegoren sind in meinem Hirn und somit wollte ich auch nicht allzuviel am Anfang ausgeben.Das kleine, gut verpackte Päckchen kam schnell und sauber bei mir an, die Teile in einem kleinen durchsichtigen Plastiketui mit Zipper. Zusammenbau war einfach - einmal habe ich die Schraube verkehrt eingedreht, aber das war reversibel, also einfach nochmals rausgeschraubt und neu rein. Sogar zusammengesetzt geht das Teil in das Täschchen - ziemlich eng wirds zwar, aber es geht.Sowohl die Befestigung auf einem Stativ als auch auf dem Blitzschuh macht einen stabilen EIndruck, und auch das Smartphone wird sehr gut festgehalten mit den Spannbacken, die gepolstert sind und das Smartphone nicht beschädigen.Langzeittest habe ich natürlich noch keinen, aber ich kann heute scho sagen, dass das Teil den Preis sicher wert ist

I'm fairly certain the size of a camera's hotshoe does not have much variance across all camera brands, yet, the most crucial part about how this mounts to your camera's hotshoe is significantly smaller than the slot. So, what you get is this stupid way of tightening down this piece of trash onto your hotshoe which could potentially lead to damage. I can't believe there's that much play but then again, what was I expecting for $7? This thing is going back to Amazon. I should have read more of the customer reviews rather than relying on the rating alone. Maybe QC is just poor and I got a really bad one. It moves around way too much and any slight bump or tap to the mount will likely cause it to twist slightly but enough to affect the angle.Trash. Keep looking.

Mounting my phone to my camera isn't my primary purpose for this (though it will probably happen at some point) but the go-pro style connections for the phone holder make this extremely versatile. This single kit allows me to mount my phone on a tripod or hang form the windshield mount in my truck to use my phone for behind the scenes, time lapse and other video recordings. The phone clamp fits my phone well and holds it securely even when putting the phone at a 3/4 position (rather than centered in the pictures) to avoid clamping on the volume buttons.

Works perfectly. I needed something to mount my GoPro on my camera to get video during shoots and this works perfectly. The added mount for my phone Incase my GoPro dies or I forget it is a big plus. She I originally received it the package was missing the actual GoPro mount. I contacted customer service to see if I could get that piece. They not only sent me the missing peice but sent me a whole new kit. This was awesome on their part because I would have been happy with just the missing piece. Great customer service!
