Works as described, but is meant for a very small fire. Not really a great fit for a fire pit.Also, once the rain hit it, the adjustable screws for pivoting the grill up and down just rusted shut. Also, plan on burning off all of the oil and extra pain on the item BEFORE grilling on it.I would only recommend it for occasional use for camping trips.

After two months of exposure to the elements, it has proven its mettle with solid construction that hasn't faltered. Whether it’s set up in the backyard or taken on the road for camping trips and beach cookouts, this grill set is a game-changer.Initially, I had my reservations about the single spike’s stability, prompting me to order an alternative unit with three spikes. However, this grill set outshined its competitor, offering a much better experience. The main spike has a commendable weight, providing the necessary foundation for the grill. The two arm attachments are not only strong but also feature sturdy wooden handles, which enhance the overall design and functionality.A standout feature is the kettle holder, which adds to the set’s versatility. 100/100I was expecting steel rods . . . WOW! I wasn't expecting THIS! These are THICK steel rods with massive "handful" wood handles! The arms "lock" in place with L-shaped screw to friction hold them on the main pole.The main pole is also a THICK steel pole!My only concern is the grill. The expanded metal grill is spot welded to the circular rim and I wonder how long it will be before the heat expands, contracts, and cracks the welds . . . or . . . the expanded metal burns out. BUT! I have a cracker box and can easily cut a new expanded metal circle and tack it on. The actual irons are SOLID enough to me "repaired".I recently put in a fire "pit" with a steel ring around it and THIS is going in right beside it! Actually, I'm goin to put a pipe about the size of the main pole in so I can easily put it in or take it out to prevent it being out in the weather and rusting, etc.Ultimately, is it worth the price? YES! Use it outside, take it to the camp, use it at the beach! THIS is a GREAT outdoor cooking tool!
