I placed this item on a top shelf cabinet where my cat sometimes likes to nap. One the first day, she avoided that area. IN fact, she avoided the area for about 4 days. On day 5, she got back on the shelf. She was close, maybe 5 feet away. On the 6 day, she was almost on top of it. I then placed on devices around other places in my living room. My other cat kept away for 2 days and then ignored the smell and would get close. For that reason, I sent the box back to get a refund. This might work for some cats, but not mine. That is why I gave 2 stars vs 1 star. It may well work for you.

We were hoping that stray cats would not jump on our car and leave prints on the hood, unfortunately the product didn't solve our problem, even though we put the green balls all around.

These are basically green mothballs the size of a ping pong ball. One was hanging on the fence and the cat didn’t care less. It was sitting on the fence 3 feet away and the smell didn’t bother it. .

Those cat deterrents doesn't last 60 days as advertised. I put one of the ball in a corner where my cat use to poop, this afternoon my cat doesn't poop because the odor was strong, but at the next morning you barely was able to smell it, so my cat did what she is doing in the past months (pooping in that corner). I am very disappointed, since I taught I finally find something to keep my cat away from this place but it just last about half a day. For the price this is a scam.

They don’t work. I did according to direction and it has no affect on the cats.
