I bought this player in July of 2024. My husband and I both listen to a lot of audiobooks. We have both used the player, and we both love it. We loved it so much that I bought 2 more... one for my husband to have his own and one as an extra. It is so easy to use. It holds a charge much longer than we expected. The sound is excellent. And since we listen to books at night in the dark, the backlit screen is a huge plus. In addition to that, the screen is larger than most with big numbers that are easy to read what track you are on in the dark. We have owned 4 other rechargeables from other companies, but the Monodeal is far and away the best for our needs.It also has the potential for a lifetime warranty if you email the company within 10 days of purchase. I did a lot of research before buying, and I found no other company that stood behind the quality of their product by doing this. I dealt with Jenna from Monodeal who set up the warranties on all three players. She was awesome. She was so kind and answered any questions I had. She was also very responsive in getting back to me.I highly recommend this player and this company.

I purchased the Monodeal Portable CD Player for my son. The Cd Player is of excellent quality and has great sound qualities. It is easy to use and the fact that it is rechargeable is an added quality. No longer need to worry about replacing batteries. In addition it has a lifetime warranty, Awesome!

This portable CD player is amazing! Previously I was using an old used Sony Discman which caused issues while playing, particularly skipping. However having this player now is a huge plus. It has a built in battery that recharges with USB-C, so it is so much more convenient. It also has a nice larger screen with blue LEDs which makes listening to all my CDs much more enjoyable. It plays them flawlessly. Would highly recommend this product!

I bought this for my girl. She loves the fact she can listen to all her cds form the 80's and 90's. Music was different back then. Great battery, sound quality is perfect. Lots of equalizer settings for different sounds. She is super happy and that makes me smile from ear to ear. Thanks for the great product. The customer service has been awesome, they have been in contact with me asking how it is working and if I have received the extra warranty that I purchased.

Who knew you could get portable CD player with such great sound quality without paying a ton of money. My battery-operated Panasonic pretty well died and I was going to replace it with the same brand or another high end brand. After doing some research, I decided to go with a less expensive brand, hoping to get one that had close to the same performance. This model exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is amazing and the case itself feels very sturdy. Love the larger LED display. This is a great buy at a very reasonable price!

I am revising my review because the company contacted me to ask uf they could send me a new CD player. They reminded me that there is a lifetime warranty on their product and wanted to know of I would like them to replace the player that quit working. I told them absolutely! I received my new CD player within 4 days! It had a new lifetime warranty card online registration form which I immediately went online and registered. The Monodeal representative was extremely polite and they very quickly replaced my defective cd player. As I stated in my previous review, this particular cd player has great sound, ease of use, it doesn't use alkaline batteries and charges quickly with the USB charger and comes with ear buds and a sturdy cloth bag for dust protection. But MOST IMPORTANTLY they honor their lifetime warranty! I highly recommend this company and their cd player!I bought this cd player to check cd's that I buy to make sure they are good. I bought it in March 2021 and have used it literally 18 times. At first I was very pleased with it. It sounds great and was easy to use. I went to use it today and it played the first cd fine, but after that it would not play any more cd's. It keeps displaying "nod" meaning no disc. I tried turning it off and on, letting it sit for a while, charging it up - it still will not work. So after 19 uses sitting at a desk, it no longer functions. It is stored in it's case inside a closed rolltop desk in an air conditioned house because it was not used often. I'm in my 60's and take meticulous care of my electronics.

It's not easy finding a portable CD player these days, let alone one of quality that has really good sound. The MD-102 CD Player has thus far exceeded my expectations! After my old Sony Diskman from 2000 died a few years ago, I was buying used Sony cd players that lacked the quality and durability of my old one. I decided to go searching for a new cd player from another brand and found this one by Monodeal.The price is reasonable and so I decided to purchase it. Most of all, I'm blown away by the sound quality! I also love the different sound options to choose from based on what genre of music you're listening to. The Rock sound mode I've found to have the balance, depth, and separation I like. The separation is amazing! It's pretty light weight, which doesn't matter much to me so I'm hoping this will have the durability and longevity I desire. I have a library of cds and listen to music while I work so I use my portable cd player 20+ hours a week.The cd player is rechargeable and doesn't take batteries. The life of a full charge isn't as long as having batteries.I haven't tracked it, but it's probably half as long compared to using batteries. If you only use yours occasionally, this won't bother you. Because I use mine a lot, a full charge last only a few days for me. The good thing is, I can plug my cd player into my work computer and continue listening while it charges.Overall, it's pretty easy to use and isn't much different than the cd players I've used in the past. The most confusing thing to figure out is how to save your spot on a cd when you turn it off. Instead of pressing the Stop button like I was used to with Sony players, this one you use the on/off switch on the side. I first press the pause button and then move the switch to the Off position. Other than that, there aren't any surprises.Customer service was also fantastic! I received mine in two days even though I used free shipping and you even get a nice cloth drawstring bag to carry it in. If you're looking to try a new brand, I definitely recommend Monodeal!

My only suggestion to Monodeal for 2022 is to add digital volume control to the top of the device, as the rheostat volume is a dated feature. That said, the CD pkayer has very good volume output with no noise problems as yet. These often abate with keeping the control free of dust and moisture and by regular setting of volume to keep contacts clean of ion build-up through stationary contacts electrostatic build up ( better to spread the inevitable around.)The quality packaging is what to expect from the best brands ... really exceptional for an item under 150$USD and worth retaining.The email warranty application has not elicited a confirmation as yet.Minor issues with non-Chinese user guide languages.I could not locate a User Guide PDF at the Monodeal web site, but the programming is simple: only the non-memory play feature woyld need to be remember ( hold down Prog. button )Build quality appears comparable to vintage Sony CD Walkman of 10+ years ago ( mine still fine as a vanilla CD and MP3 CD player.)
