Your cart is empty.T-Adapter for 9.25, 11 & 14” EdgeHD optical tubes. It threads onto the rear cell. This T-Adapter allows you to attach your 35 mm DSLR camera to the prime focus of your EdgeHD telescope. This arrangement is used for terrestrial photography and short exposure lunar and planetary photography. It can also be used for long exposure deep-sky photography when using a separate guidescope. Both a T-Adapter and T-Ring are required to mount a 35 mm SLR camera to your instrument.

I have only used it one time. It worked fine and as expected.This is a simple tube with correct mounting flange to match the larger flange on the back of my newer C11 optical tube. This is a much larger thread than my older C8 has.It is thin walled, light weight, but strong enough for it's purpose, well painted, and easily used. The only issue i had is finding focus with this adapter. Which took some time as the back focus is much greater than what i was used to. Knowing that now it is easily done.If you use an reducer corrector on your C11 this will not fit as it is a different thread and size.

Fits just as expected for my CPC 1100 Edge HD, attached to a Nikon D5100. And great price, miniumum $15 cheaper than many other competing online telescope shops.

There is another T adapter available from Starizona, that does accept 2" filters. This one is useless. Another example of Celestron offering poorly thought out Chinese junk.

I *never* use it. I got a baader focuser instead and put a 2" barrel on my camera.So now it sits in the box of shame with the diagonal.I would have like to be able to use the diagonal but switching between this and the diagonal is prohibitively cumbersome.Go to telescopeadapters-dot-com or scopestuff-dot-com instead and get a 2" barrel T2-adapter instead. Don't buy this.
