I don't normally write reviews. But after setting up this booster, and seeing the big increase in cell reception in my home office I felt compelled to write this positive review. I went from 1 to 2 4G bars to 3 to 4 5G bars. That's a huge improvement for my home office. Probably depends on where your cell towers are located in your area.

As someone who lives in a rural area with spotty cell service, I was eager to try out the INVCALL Cell Phone Signal Booster to see if it could make a difference in my daily connectivity. Priced at $159.00, this dual-band booster promises to enhance signal strength for 4G LTE and 3G networks, covering up to 4,500 square feet—ideal for my home setup. The installation process was surprisingly straightforward. I appreciated that no drilling was required; the clever window entry cable allowed me to run the coax cable through the window without making any permanent alterations. I mounted the high-gain outdoor LPDA antenna pointing toward the nearest cell tower, which I located using a free app on my iPhone. Within about 30 minutes, I had everything set up, including the indoor wall-mounted antenna.I’m happy to report that the booster delivered on its promise. Before installation, my phone barely registered one bar of service, which often resulted in dropped calls and poor voice quality. Now, I regularly see two bars—and sometimes even three during optimal conditions. The quality of voice calls has significantly improved, allowing me to move freely around my home without dropping the connection.I've also noticed that multiple devices can connect without issue. Both family and guests using Bell, Rogers, and Telus have enjoyed enhanced signal strength and better data speeds. This is especially important in a household where everyone relies on their phones for work and leisure. The HD touch display on the booster provides real-time feedback on the amplifier’s working status, which I found helpful for fine-tuning the antenna position. The included cable management strips helped keep everything organized, which I appreciated as I tend to dislike clutter.Overall, I’m quite satisfied with the INVCALL Cell Phone Signal Booster. While it may not turn a dead zone into a signal paradise (if you’re starting with extremely poor service, keep that in mind), it does a fantastic job of improving reception where it’s already somewhat usable. For anyone dealing with weak signals at home, this booster is an effective, easy-to-install solution that has made a noticeable difference in my daily connectivity.

I was able to boost the signal to improve cell reception in my basement as there is a dead spot right around our house. The kit comes with everything you need. The instructions include reference to an App that can assist you to find where the cell towers are, however, after several tries to register, it keeps asking me for an order number and it won’t accept it.The kit includes the booster, a directional outside antenna, an indoor antenna, and enough cable for most installations. All the hardware, antenna brackets, and screws are included. The digital display on the booster is bright and clear. You can touch the arrow on the screen to see the next signal. The booster is compatible with both Rogers and Bell. I have two sim cards in my phone, and I was able to have both my Fido (Rogers Network) signal and Public Mobile (Bell Network) signal increased.Without the booster, I can’t use the phone in my basement. With the booster, I can get 2, 3, and sometimes 4 bars. It fluctuates though but I’m able to acquire a constant stable connection without dropping calls.Overall, I was hoping for a stronger constant signal, but it does the job.

I've been lamenting the relatively poor cell phone service in my neighbourhood for years, and it never occurred to me that a consumer-installable product my be able to address the issue! When I came upon this product, I figured it surely can't hurt to give it a try!I can report that it does take significant effort to setup properly if you're doing it for the first time... and/or if you aren't very, very confident. You've got to run a cable to your roof or at least the highest point you can safely reach from a reasonable location within your home where you'll plug in the booster, mount the antenna, figure out which direction to point it, then most likely you'll need to fine-tune the direction of the external antenna... probably a few times if you're like me. ;)Once everything was finally configured, having followed the instructions carefully and fine-tuned the antenna several times, the cell performance was night and day compared to what it was before! (Okay, I may be exaggerating... but only a little.) Particularly for the relatively low price ($159 when I ordered it), I think it's well worth it for the benefits. No more "I'm losing you" or buffering when trying to watch something on a cellphone if I happen not to be on wifi for some reason. Ultimately, I'm pretty happy with the INVCALL cell phone booster. =)

I’ll give this signal booster the benefit of the doubt, but it really didn’t work for me.Let me explain……I live in a bungalow style house and the recommended spacing from the exterior antenna to the interior antenna is roughly 27 feet. That would mean that I would need to install the exterior antenna at one end of my house and the interior antenna at the other, but the interior antenna can’t be in front of the exterior antenna??

That would be great if the the cell towers were at the east end of my house and the interior antenna was at the west, but what if it’s in a north/south direction?

I can’t get that 27 feet??I tried moving the exterior antenna around to different locations, and the the interior antenna, but I think the reverberations of the clashing antennas didn’t make a difference at all? When I tried mounting the exterior antenna to my RV’s roof, and then mounted the interior antenna further behind it “I think” I got a better signal? The exterior cable provided is roughly 30 feet, but lets face it……..by the time you go around corners, or wrap around rafters or whatever you do, 30 feet isn’t anywhere near long enough…….especially when you need to be 27 feet away from the exterior antenna. At a minimum I would think that 50 feet of the RG58 cable should be provided.I also very much dislike the app that they want you to install.

You must provide the information of where you bought the device from as well as the invoice number, and to me that just reeks of tracking the buyer right to their doorstep for who knows why?

Once I realized that the app was that sketchy I decided not to use it, and opted for an open source app that doesn’t track its users.

I was able to point my exterior dish right at my carriers tower, and easily continue on with the setup process. So why am I rating this system a 4 star rather than a 2 or 3?Well I think it could actually work if enough cable were to be provided and you opted not to use their data tracking app, but also because 3.5 stars is not an option.I’ve ordered some additional cable from a secondary source with the correct small male and female connectors, and am looking forward to trying it out again when it arrives.

I had some RG58 cable here already, but the male and female connectors were much larger and wouldn’t work on the ones provided from Invcalls cables. What I do like about this system is the included window entry cable, as it’s small enough to pass under a screen and a window rail, and still reach the interior of my house whilst at the same time allowing to close both.In the end my 2 bar 3G signal wasn’t improved in the slightest after installation, but I do think it’s because the cable distancing from the exterior antenna to the interior antenna wasn’t long enough.

The NVCALL brand cell phone signal booster for home can be a valuable asset for homes and businesses that present extra challenges for adequate cell phone signal support. Examples include large and extra-large structures, locations in valleys or other geographical challenges, structures with large amounts of steel content, etc. This reviewer has first-hand (and expensive) experience with substandard cell phone reception here at the tree farm home base. Even though we are located on relatively flat and high ground approximately 30 minutes-drive from the signal policy controlling folks at the mighty CRTC offices in downtown Ottawa, the most common signal reading is between zero and 2 bars, with many calls and texts that are unsuccessful. We ruled out installing a land line during initial construction 5 years ago due to both the high cost of linking the quarter-mile distance between the structure and the main grid connection at the road, plus the minimum monthly charge of approximately $50 to maintain a land line residential number. The first step was to set up a 60 foot tall tower with a receptive mini dish. The next challenge was to get the signal properly distributed in and around the main building, an all steel construction Quonset hut. This involved the installation of additional cabling and in line signal boosters. The signal was still not reliable and a secondary booster was added to the receptor dish on the 60 foot tall antenna tower. An interior signal booster system was also installed. The most recent acquisition is another booster system for the recent addition of a large 3 season screened outdoor room.Still searching for the holy grail of decent and dependable cell service, we recently acquired the present product under review. The tech specs are impressive and the 4500 ft.² coverage is in the top quartile of peer product competitors. There are competing peer products on the Amazon website offering only one third the area of coverage in a similar price range. This booster is IC certified and is also properly configured to receive all of the current band width signals used by all of the major Canadian wireless carriers. All of the relevant troubleshooting and signal status system LED indicators are built-in for ease of day-to-day operations. The maximum signal boost gain is as much as 70 dB placing this unit very highly among its peers. Any boost incurred will also increase the amount of time required between battery charges as the phones do not have to work as hard in terms of signal finding power needs. We are currently waiting for the installation technician to install this system and look forward to updating this review if there are any significant changes to report at that time. Conclusion:The NVCALL brand cell phone signal booster for home can be a valuable asset for homes that present extra challenges for adequate cell phone signal support. An overall product score of 5/5 is assigned accordingly.
