Not a bad mat but could be thicker - my chair leaves slight indentations in it. Rollability is OK but the indentations might be why some have commented on this. As for unrolling the mat, I put it in direct sunlight on a warm surface and it flattened out in about an hour.

This stupid thing will never go flat. It comes rolled up and stiff as can be. I had to put the heating pad on it for an hour just to unroll it, and it was still very difficult. It's been down with the chair and me on it for 2 months, and it's still all wrinkly.

For a small space, this chair mat is perfect. I read many reviews, some good, some bad, some rated low for frivolous reasons. I am very pleased. I am using it on low pile carpet and it doesn't move at all. The chair slides with some effort but I am okay with that for I had rather be secure than slide too easily. Size is exactly as advertised so keep that in mind before receiving and making a comment it is too small! It is what it is!

I love the fact that this protects the carpet under my chair, but it doesn't take up too much space and doesn't invade the space under my desk. I was apprehensive, but it worked out great. If you have an L shaped desk and move around a lot, I wouldn't recommend it.
