Doesn't work right out of the box. At one point I wiggled the right thing the right way and the card showed up but I couldn't access the files. After that, it wouldn't even show up on the computer. I should have listen to all the other reviews that said it didn't work. Amazon should stop allowing these to be sold.

Has worked very well to make a hidden SD Card slot accessible. So far, approximately 10 hours of data has been streamed to a SD Card in this device since installed almost 2 months ago, with no known issues. All files have been as expected. Thanks to this device, I do not have to remove a panel to access the original SD Card slot to exchange cards, which I do after each usage cycle to analyze the collected data. This is working as expected in a high vibration environment. Great!Would definitely buy this device again!

The extension didn’t work. I bought it to use on the new Osee Gostream Deck ( also bought from Amazon ) but it didn’t recognise the SD card extended .

購入後、すぐに使用する予定でしたが一時使用する事が不要となり確認せずに保管していました。今になって使用する事があって確認してみたところ、まったく認識しません。他のＰＣでも同様。不燃ゴミ行きとなりました。

I use this on a industrial product that utilizes an SD card. The factory SD slot is a little hard to reach over and over again. I use these to make access a lot easier. No problems with interfacing with the equipment.

I just received it today to make it easy to put the SD card on my 3D flashforge printer.The flimsy and cheap ribbon cable broke off the reading unit within a few minutes.Absolute junk!!!Threw it away!

I like that this extension piece is long enough to allow me to use an old piece of electronics that the original SD Card holder has become temperamental to use.By adding this extension piece I don't need to touch the original box, and it will extend the life of the old machine further. Thanks.

This is something that can be useful to a people that play with things like raspberry pies ot want an easier to access SD card slot on some PC or retro game system project. I have not tested it to see it if slower then a direct connection but it seemed to work ok with most cards I tried in it.
