Product Description

conjure tough resin

Conjure tough is designed for functional gadgets that request high toughness. it has worse performance in printing detail, not recommend to print high detail miniature, You can mix it with other resin to get moderate results.

We highly recommend trying our Conjure rigid and Conjure sculpt for display pieces like figures and tabletop minis.

Real Non-brittle and Mixable

Real Non-brittle and Mixable

Great toughness to make your prints non-brittle. Its print detail may not that good, you can mix it with normal resin to get better detail with moderate mechanical properties.

Functional Gadgets

Functional Gadgets

Conjure tough is not a flexible resin, but you can expect prints with good flexibility. It has 50% elongation at break, which is good for some rubber-like function gadgets.

More durable

More Durable

Higher viscosity means better mechanical properties. you may need 1~2s more exposure time, but it is worth getting more durable prints.

shelf life

Longer Shelf Time

Conjure resin has a 18 months shelf time, and the package protect resin very well from leaking.

I bought this and have been mixing it 50/50 with Elegoo Standard Polymer Resin and exposing for 2.35 seconds on a Phrozen Sonic Mini. The miniatures I've been making are much stronger and less prone to breaking. Overall this is a great product.

I'm using this with an Anycubic Photon (OG) and have gotten some decent prints with it. One thing you should know though is that the recommended print settings are way way off. At the recommended 12s per layer (at .050mm) and 60s x 6 base layers it is overexposed and very difficult to peel off the base plate. Edit: I am now using it at 4x35s base layers and 6.5s per .050 layer. See the exposure test--the details are quite sharp. My printing temperature is around 22C, which is lower than recommended, but it seems to work well regardless.

Good, Bad & Ugly:G: Printed models are very tough and flexible--much more so than any other resin I've used;B: They also remain quite tacky, even after 3 successive IPA washes, and a scrub down with hot water and detergent; and 15 minutes post curing under 16 mW/cm² 405 nm UV!;U: The resin is quite viscous and messy, clinging to everything it nears, and difficult to clean up after. It also left numerous mushy clumps of partially cured resin in the vat (Creality Halot Mage 8K) that had to be strained between prints, wasting 10-15% of the resin. That may be an artifact if the light color, disbursing UV...If it were more usable/user friendly I'd like it, but I'll not buy it again...

This is some seriously impressive resin!! I'm using it on my Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra at 12k without much of an issue. I'd recommend letting the prints set for a day or two to harden a bit. Right off the plate they are pretty flexible. After a few days they are more stiff, but still more flexible than any other resin I've used which is awesome. The smell is a bit on the stronger side and the resin is thicker and stickier than most resins resulting in a bit of a struggle to clean the plate off after the print. I ended up having to use IPA to clean the plate as the regular soapy water I use to clean the plate was not enough.

This resin is amazing! I mix it with the 8k resin & it firmed it up very nicely. I do a 50/50 mix & that seems to be the best results for me. Models can handle a drop without breaking. As everyone knows that can’t happen with regular resin. They explode. Lol

The resin holds detail slightly better than fine plastics at moderate exposure (at 83 degrees f temperature), and highly durable. Perfect for gaming or anything else that requires you actually handling the print.

If you've been printing a while, trying out different resins, I think you'll agree the recommended exposure times by the manufacturers are usually terrible estimates. It's not entirely their fault, different machines perform differently, so you have to figure out what settings work best for your machine anyway.Since black resins tend to require the longest exposure times, I chose to try Conjure Tough Black first, to see firsthand what kind of print times I was looking at on the high end.I'm surprised at how quickly this black resin cures, I was expecting it to take a few seconds more because of the 50% elasticity/polymer amount/whatever. I settled on these exposure times for my printers:[Photon Mono X 6K] (70% Power)Tough Black: 2.5s Normal Layer @ 50um LayerTough Skin: 2.1s Normal Layer @ 50um Layer[Elegoo Mars 3]Tough Black: 3.4s Normal Layer @ 50um Layer[As usual, your lift height, speeds, delays, etc. will vary depending on your supports, FEP tension, etc.]I will point out, even though I usually use 5mm Lift Height for all my prints, with this resin sometimes I need to use 8-9mm Lift Height to make sure the model peels off the FEP between layers. Of course it varies by model, so I suggest you start with 8mm Lift Height and reduce it as needed. This is easy if your printer's software/firmware allows you to adjust settings on the fly. This resin is noticeably tougher than standard or ABS resin, I use it for printing accessories for action figures. Long skinny items like rifles and swords don't warp during curing like they can when using flex resin.Keep in mind this resin is tough, but it's not a substitute for flex resin. Thin parts will have some flex, but they won't be as pliable as actual flex resin. Also, this stuff prints detailed models just fine. Black usually doesn't have issues reproducing detail anyway, but the Skin resin still looks crisp even with some anti-alias added.

Anyone who does miniature gaming knows that tiny, thin parts are very fragile. I ordered Conjure tough in hopes that I may have found a more durable resin for my 10mm fantasy miniatures. My fist two units (High elves and Lizardmen from Forest Dragon) turned out great. Some of the thin halberds were warped after curing but were easy straightened with hot water/cold water technique. The resin is really tough after curing but still retains some flex with should be good for the tabletop. As you can see in the photos, the detail is crisp, not soft like some flexible resins. The only minor downsides of the resin are that it has a slightly mint smell that triggers my allergies (allergic to colognes, perfumes and scented candles) and can difficult to remove from build plate without shattering stands (might need to print the first few layers with less time)Overall, a great value for miniature wargamers.Printer: Anycubic Photon Ultra DLPPhoton Workshop Settings:Layer Thickness 0.30mmNormal Exposure Time: 1.75Off Time: 1.00Bottom Exposure Time: 20.00Bottom Layers: 4Anti-Alias: 4Gray Level: 8Image Blur: 0
