I started using a mix of 80% Phrozen Aqua Gray 8K and 20% PhrozenxLoctite Impact Plus and the higher viscosity of the Impact Plus made removing excess resin after printing very difficult. I would scrub and scrub and scrub and I'd still get the "wet" areas that had a mix of IPA/resinI didn't want to give up the strength of the new mixture so I researched new cleaning methods. I use ResinAway in a 500ml Pyrex beaker, then place that beaker in an ultrasonic cleaner filled with water. While this method is usually used with IPA, ResinAway is not flammable and I use this method just to more efficiently cycle out new ResinAway.Anyway, 3-5 minutes in the ultrasonic with ResinAway and all the excess resin is gone. I still rinse it off after with IPA and you can really feel how clean it is. This stuff is expensive but it really works, and it's now permanently part of my workflow. Also, you can use it quite a bit even when it starts looking pretty opaque and grey. The 2L bottle lasted me many many prints. What I will say is this might not be practical for very large prints, but even then... it's the only thing that worked for me when 99% IPA did notSmells like fruit loops.

It does work, but it's very oily and takes forever to dry. Its not as good as fresh IPA.

I love everything about ResinAway except it's pricepoint. Prior to using ResinAway, I was using alcohol 98% for my cleaning solution. I found myself buying lots of alcohol as my cleaning solution frequently got saturated with resin thus I made the switch to ResinAway. I'm happy that I made the switch but because I'm doing a two-step wash process (pre-wash in a tub -> wash in washing station), I needed a lot of ResinAway to fill up the bucket that's made specifically for my washing station. Additionally, I keep the printed pieces attached to the build plate and throw that in the washing station (in the bucket) as well. All that to say that, I need a lot of ResinAway so I ended up buying TWO 2L tubs of this product which is definitely costly. Anyways, it's been months now and I've printed a good amount of things since then and I still haven't ordered more.

While the smell is undesireable, the results are excellent. It works far better than IPA. Even doing a Pre-Wash then a full on Wash with the Cleaner really makes a difference. After that, just dunk it in some water too remove the cleaner and cure the print. You can really see the difference it makes on the model.IPA never cleaned so good. Even the Resin that's water washable can't beat it.

Cleans much better than isopropyl alcohol and lasts longer. Is more expensive but is worth it.

The photo makes the container look gigantic. It is actually very small. This did not clean my resin parts nearly as well as alcohol, and left them feeling oily, so I had to buy & use alcohol anyway.

Erg tevreden mee

It is a verry useful product if you have a 3D printer based on resin .It helped me to clean the resin from the prints and i used 250 ml for at least 10 prints .I'm a satisfied buyer.
