I've found the Wire Stripper tool to be a bit finicky when cutting, so it's a good idea to have some extra cable length on hand. You might need a few attempts to get a clean cut. On the other hand, the Cable Crimper works okay. Overall, it's an average toolset that gets the job done, but may require some patience.

Doesn't ground very good because the crimping part is made of plastic instead of metal.. Junk.. I had to put my old ones back on. Which I did not have a problem with.. I just wanted to upgrade for the winter. So I would not have to get out in the cold weather and trace a bad connection down.. These are not what I needed..

We just finished gutting our 122-year-old house, and when we moved back in, we found that the contractor had neglected to put the metal ends on any of our Internet cables. It took an act of Congress to get our Internet company to come out in the first place and do the initial set up of our Internet and so I was having majoring anxiety about having to call them and wait for months for them to put on the end. And then my very handy friend suggested that I look for a kit that would allow me to put them on myself. She knows about all of the things that you never knew you wanted to know about. LOL Well, I found this kit it had great reviews I had seen it used in a YouTube video that was a tutorial and so I bought it best purchase ever! It’s easy to use, the ends are easy to install, and the finished look is as if somebody that knew what the heck they were doing did it. I’ve recommended it to other people since I purchased and used it and I can’t say enough good things about this kit. It has everything you need to replace the ends of your coax. I had to do some research into what coax I had and that type of thing to make sure I was getting the right kit.(I was.) But that was the hardest part of this whole situation. If you, too, are needing to replace the ends of your coax cable, definitely check this kid out. It was easy peezy to use, and I’m super pleased with it! And my internet actually works even tho I installed the ends!!

not the best instructions. I struggled to get this working correctly as the instructions are, like most foreign products, below par. However, I found a video online that showed exactly how to set it up and then it has worked like a champ. Great for the price if like me you are only going to do a few connectors here and there. Probably would not hold up to frequent use.

I'm hard to impress but with this product I am impressed. It required no adjustment to use. Sometimes they do.If you are still deciding about which style, crimper or compression to buy, I strongly suggest compression. It took me longer to walk to the door and open the package than it it did to make to short patch cords with 4 connectors. Those were then tested at zero signal loss pre & post swap.If you watch the product video you too can be making your own cables in about 5 minutes.I can not address the long term durability of a tool I've only owned for 20 hours or so but the quality appears to be there so I suspect the compression tool will serve the DIY person for as long as they need it. The wire stripper like most things made of plastic will be the first to require replacement but it should last for quite a few jobs.

comes with your most very basic compression crimper with no frills and a pretty nice and quick coax stripper. no one will accuse them of being fancy but they get the job done. the included coax connectors are pretty terrible but anyone who was buying at this price point was basically counting those as a free bonus with the other two tools still being a good value.
