When Lily is 3, she likes watching Daddy brewing coffee. One day when her Daddy was brewing coffee, Lily dropped a glass ball into the dripper, she said: "It will make a better coffee.". After brewed with a glass ball inside the dripper, the Daddy invented this little bullet. It was named: LilyDrip. LilyDrip works with cone shape dripper. It modified the depth of grounds -50% and working filter area +100%. Therefore less duplicate extraction and less clogging, more recipe become available and the result is very consistent. Since 2017, LilyDrip provided support to hundreds of competitors all around the world, from national brewing competition to WBrC.

Do not buy! Description say 3 units of Lilydrip included but only one is sent. I’m surprised Amazon permit this misleading selling tactic to continue!!!

Don't buy! I am returning this brewer set. There is only one set sent, 1 ceramic and 1 black plastic cone. The description stated 3 sets per pack. One of the photos also shows 3 boxes packed together.

I recommend to use it with hario v60 this allows you to grinder finer than regular and it increases the sweetness

The result of brewing coffee with LilyDrip is very notable in the cup. very nice design and material, it works perfectly with v60 filter.

I just brewed my first cup with Lilydrip! I'll keep experimenting with it, but the change I saw was undeniable. I've been tinkering around with a refractometer for the past few days, finding that my brews typically coast around 1.20% brew strength, and I've been trying to push them a bit higher. I'm using a 1:17 coffee to water ratio, meaning my extraction yield of the coffee was about around 20-21%. I wanted to push for higher brew strengths (and therefore extraction yields with the same ratio), and was curious about Lilydrip. I didn't have any expectations that it would increase or decrease brew strength. The cup I just brewed with the same temperature water, pouring pattern/speed, grind size, and coffee yielded a brew strength of 1.45%, or just over 25% extraction. It doesn't taste categorically "better" than before, but it is a very interesting tool that I'll continue to use to fine-tune my cups each morning. Also worth noting, I'm using a grinder with very even particle-size distribution (Commandante) and a Melodrip to reduce coffee fines and undissolved solids respectively, meaning a higher extraction cup like this won't taste muddy and gross. I don't think it's ideal quite yet, but it allows me to play in a territory I wanted to explore with the same grind size.

Came in a set of three (hence the price).Cone is made of porcelain which is hollow inside. Doesn't seem too likely to break (feels about the same quality as the ceramic Hario V60's).Didn't come with instructions or manual, so you will have to check back to Amazon or their Instagram page to see the instructions.Overall, the concept is to increase surface area of coffee bed and thereby create better contact between the coffee and water. This should, in theory, create a more even extraction. It's important to note that the use of LilyDrip requires a different brewing technique than traditional V60 (no stirring the slurry). The cup result is similar to a Kalita Wave. Increased body, brighter notes more pronounced, more clarity in the cup. More brewing techniques will need to be tried with the LilyDrip to see the full extent of its capabilities.Overall, if you're serious about your coffee and are looking to try more techniques/equipment, this is definitely another one to add to your inventory.

Better extracted coffee. But you have to make the grind a bit finer to have the same yield

So far I've had fun with this modifier for the V60 dripper. Instructions aren't included, but you can find them on the internet. You invert the V60 paper filter so it will adhere to the Lilydrip and the walls of the V60. This fold shortens the brew bed, which effectively speeds up the drip rate during brewing. So you can use a finer grind and not worry about over-extraction. The Lilydrip is made of ceramic, so when it is preheated, it also adds a mass of heat to the center of the brew bed, helping maintain a consistent temperature. It works well and adds some fun variety to play around with. I've found it works best with the new V60 paper filters that are a little thicker than the old ones. The Lilydrip speeds up the brew time, keeping it from over-extracting like it was with my original recipes. The folding process takes an extra minute or two, fair warning.I'm also not sure why you can only buy these in sets of 3, I definitely don't need 3. It'd be nice to be able to just buy a single one.Overall though, I enjoy the Lilydrip and use it quite a bit. Find a few friends and split it with them so you can all have one.For those curious, the pictured kettle is the Artisan Variable Temp Kettle from Brewista, the grinder is by Handground, the mug is by Created Co., and the coffee is from Cultura. This was a fun little tool for coffee lover and the pour over user. Comes in a pack of three so great if you lose or misplace one/ or want to use one for yourself and gift someone else too which is what I will do.I been experimenting with this tool on a few different types of beans and roasts. It really does enhance each cup. I’m able to grind way more fine but still get a short brew time which gives a cup way more clear full of natural flavors without the over extraction. I love enhancing tools like this especially when they are very easy to use.
